Masks, in context and proper use, of course make sense.
allowing the idiotic behavior, based on "science", we guess, where you PUT the mask on the walkinto the restaurant or bar.....take it OFF when you sit down.
Or, while at expensive events ...ignoring your own rules. Kind of like this place. Or the taats in Congress, brokers listening in on committee meetings (oh, YES...they do )
We wonder how many people are having buyers remorse ? talked to the ex the other day, and she mentioned a few are feeling "sad", "guilty" or even "angry" about getting vaccinated. at all. Felt lied to. Betrayed. Some have protein blood issues, others have gotten the shingles. (look THAT one up ,geez )
don't bother wasting tyme posting info here.......never was the focus.....information, solutions, help, compassion....
not surprising, only a handful of folks remain, and most have used the "blocked" function (yet, find the tyme for nasty, unhelpful, replies. )

Just received the cv-19 antibodies results from my recent Red Cross Donation; High Positive for antibodies. Should be good to go for quite some time.

M...public health?
regardles......no, can you ? (figure out why an erect human emits covid, when completing the KREBS cycle, but not someone sitting )
Is it because of the INCREASE in heart rate, hence breathing cycles....hence more change of emission...when WALKING vs. sitting?.....but, when you come back from "exercising", rather your return from the toilet , and those increased heart rate and lung action....suddenly stops upon this same person being seated.....and they take their mask off within seconds......
huh......
why don't you answer your own questions. Almost 2K pages on this "topic" wanna guess how many posts YOU have provided, discussing the science of such a public health policy.
or, why, a teacher never takes their mask off to talk to kids, nor do those kids.....BUT......a super special person, get's to take their masks off....
ahuh........come back with answers.

I don’t like to pile on a fan (he’ll go bananas cause it’s me) but RRR’s post above is simply perfection in it’s exquisite cutting to the heart of the matter. The entire argument boiled down to one sentence, ‘you want THAT to be mandatory?’

You can't have it all fellas. You have to pick a lane. Petey, because he couldn't have an honest conversation here if he tried, REFUSES to say that he's against vaccine mandates.
Why? Because he knows he's stuck. He won't admit that yes, he's for vaccine mandates....even though he knows that there are sometimes SEVERE reactions to these older vaccines.
Point is: EVERYTHING humans ingest/inject/inhale has dozens of side effects, fellas. Apparently, this is somehow news. And what you gents are asking for is for this vaccine to be the first drug known to man to have zero side effects. That's absurd, sorry.
Did you know, for example, that there as some people who are allergic to water? So yes, these vaccines have side affects.
Re: All things CoronaVirus
Interesting to note that the average excess death rate of US citizens over the 2 years of COVID has been 7 times higher than during WW2. What 1 million COVID dead mean to the future of the US.

Unfortunately, the ‘experts’ have been outed, a fan. There exists zero trust in most institutions, well deserved distrust. The CEO’s of Moderna and Pfizer have sold hundreds of millions of $$ of stock during this pandemic. That’s just the CEO’s!!
Those opportunities for gargantuan wealth accumulation by hundreds of top medical professionals didn’t exist in the days of the other vaccines. Further, those vaccines didn’t seem to affect nearly the wide swath of subjects as do these vaccines. Women’s menstrual cycles all over the world appear compromised now, but you can’t get the American regulatory bodies to investigate beyond a short NIH press release saying ‘nothing to see here’! Why is that, American regulatory authorities ignoring possible harm, when even the EU is looking into this?

In other words, some reports have surfaced, and in the abundance of caution, they are taking a second look, but there is NO clear data to say there is actually a problem.Feb 11 (Reuters) - The European Medicines Agency's safety committee said on Friday it was reviewing reports of heavy menstrual bleeding and absence of menstruation from women who had received COVID vaccines from Pfizer (PFE.N)/BioNTech (22UAy.DE)and Moderna (MRNA.O).
The assessment was in view of reports of menstrual disorders after receiving either of the two vaccines, both based on messenger RNA technology, and it was not yet clear whether there was a causal link, the agency said.
Menstrual disorders can occur due to a range of underlying medical conditions as well as from stress and tiredness, the EMA said, adding that cases of such disorders had also been reported following COVID-19 infection.
Vaccination against COVID-19 was linked with a small, temporary change in menstrual cycle length, according to a recent study funded by the National Institutes of Health, which collected data from nearly 4,000 users of a smartphone app that tracks menstrual cycles.
But the EMA said in December it had not established a link between changes in menstrual cycles and COVID-19 vaccines, after a study in Norway suggested some women had heavier periods after being inoculated.
After reviewing the available evidence, the EMA's Pharmacovigilance Risk Assessment Committee (PRAC) said it decided to request an evaluation of all available data, including reports from patients and healthcare professionals, clinical trials and the published literature.
The agency on Friday added that there was also no evidence to suggest that COVID-19 vaccines affected fertility.
Also, that distrust in the drug makers is mostly just the blind following of the political decision of outlets like Fox News, etc. to do everything possible to sow mistrust because of who is in power in Washington. In reality, the COVID vaccines have had no particularly bad issues with numbers of extreme side effects, and the benefits of the vaccines still far exceed the risks for anyone in any reasonable look at the data.

Your post is precisely why folks don’t trust institutions. ‘Nothing to see, folks, move along’. When we all know there’s something to DEFINITELY see.
Here’s a lib throwing her acting career away by being truthful about the vaccine and menstruation (can’t be honest anymore!).
https://twitter.com/katystoll/status/15 ... Y0LRCCcfnA
Look. This isn't intended to come across as antivax in anyway. I am triple protected and would do it again.
But, it has significantly affected my menstruation. It has significantly affected a lot of women's menstruation. There has been hardly anything written about this.
The only thing I've seen about it said "yes, it seems the vaccine affects menstruation but it's minor" but I'm telling you- what I'm experiencing and what other people have shared with me is that this is not minor. Excruciating symptoms, and delayed periods of up to two weeks.
Again. I am grateful for the vaccine and would do it again. I do not worry about my fertility in anyway. But we can't just ignore the reality of this simply because we don't want to legitimize peoples fears.
I'm stunned and furious by the responses to this tweet. I have thousands of messages and DMs to go through. Some of your stories are heartbreaking. So many people have been carrying valid fears but haven't felt comfortable speaking up because it has all been so politicized.

Again, you don't read. You claim there is something to see here, and the Europeans are publicly doing just that. You have NO knowledge if there are similar analyses happening elsewhere because they have not been publicly reported. That does not prove what you are claiming - that there is some conspiracy to ignore/sweep under the rug something truly adverse.Peter Brown wrote: ↑Wed Mar 30, 2022 9:14 amRedFromMI wrote: ↑Wed Mar 30, 2022 9:06 amAgain, Petey apparently does not read:Peter Brown wrote: ↑Wed Mar 30, 2022 8:28 ama fan wrote: ↑Wed Mar 30, 2022 12:45 amWould you gentlemen care for a list of the know side effects of the polio vaccine?

The more you know, the less you trust.

And then you provide ONE data point of an UNSUBSTANTIATED claim that the correlation of having been vaccinated has led to an adverse effect. The fact you have ONE example when at least hundreds of millions of people have been vaccinated (and therefore a huge number of women of childbearing ages). The lack of understanding of statistics you are showing is a real tell.
Re: All things CoronaVirus
I did not make that statement - and I am not a medical industry hack. I am a physicist who also happens to be a faculty member at an institution of higher education. I do have a reasonable understanding of statistics, however.tech37 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 30, 2022 9:18 amThis coming from the medical industry hack, who stated on here that, only after a year, there are no long-term effects to speak of.RedFromMI wrote: ↑Wed Mar 30, 2022 9:06 am Also, that distrust in the drug makers is mostly just the blind following of the political decision of outlets like Fox News, etc. to do everything possible to sow mistrust because of who is in power in Washington. However, the number and severity of side effects for the COVID vaccines is neither abnormally large (especially for the mRNA versions), nor are the risks of them worse than the risks of the disease itself.
I have stated that it is rare for long term effects to show up multiple years after the introduction of the vaccine - unless SO rare as to not be in evidence in the early phases of investigations. If something does show up later - after hundreds of millions at least have been vaccinated, those effects will either be so rare as to be not a significant problem, or not easy to distinguish between vaccine caused or something else entirely.

This IS the covid thread.......not the "vaccine" thread, but....I'll take a behind the back shot at it....
Plenty of people, after being fully "vaccinated", still GOT the sickness the "vaccine" was intended to prevent. So many.
Now, AFAN.....you know anyone that, after beinf fully vaccinated for polio or MMR....that they actually GOT sick with polio or got the measles?
Now, AFAN.......how many people do you know that got the covid shots and STILL got covid?
exactly
you wanna compare vaccine mandates.....BEST....to compare vaccine results, yes
