Win the next 2 and you likely host the NEC tournament. Things can change rapidly.
Two of our best players are currently out, and it showed on Saturday. Things are definitely not looking good.

If you have really been following them, they have not really been improving. In fact I would say they have digressed. They have players on that team that should suggest that they should be playing much better. Especially on offense. Way too many turnovers, bad shots, and individualism. I blame that on the coach.

Unfortunately the whole conference does not look very good this year outside of St Joe. I think there are a couple of teams that on a given day could play well and give St. Joe a challenge. The bottom line is that St Joe is really the only consistent team that looks good to me as of right now.

Ketch , I always love your posts they show great insight into the game , the team and the Colleges .
But the two strong players out is not an excuse , all teams have players out over the course of the year , “next man up” guys need to be ready to step up and carry the load while Madonna or others are out .
As old bartman says this doesn’t fly at the D1 level
Being field side Saturday the energy and purpose of the team was way off.

Next man up is true, but I saw faces out there I’ve never seen before and they weren’t ready. We need to get those guys game ready, and fast. Gotta believe that Baltzer, Dattelas and Madonna would have made the difference out there.

Yes!! They should have been ready, next man up... the reason they weren't is the coaches shortened the bench immediately after the Canisius game.

I agree. Back in February I saw a whole string of guys running. Wondering where they are now.
There was a bright spot with Bach coming back. That's what we need ... someone out for two games steps back and puts three in the back of the net.
In any case, St. Joes is the team to beat in the NEC.

St Joes certainly seems to be the class of the league , but never count out Presslers teams they will be Bulldogs to the bitter end.
Liu got a bunch of gamers and SHU showed Hobart they are going to make changes and battle

Bryant moving to the America East conference. Will the NEC allow them to play in the NEC tournament if they qualify?

Can’t imagine they announce without reassurance that they can compete in conference championship.

We are wishing we had a functional goalie at the moment. Been a problem since second half of 21 season.
Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah

Hopefully St. Joe doesn't get upset in the NEC tournament. If anyone but them get's the AQ, it will be embarrassing for the NEC.

Not sure who said that LIU has a bunch of gamers, but I am assuming it is either a parent of a player or someone that has not watched them at all. Their offense is horrible with maybe 1 "gamer". I will give it up for LIU's defense this year though. I think they have improved.

I know Ryan Archer or another 5th year is likely to get
NEC player of the year,

but Tucker Brown is just about unstoppable these days,
he’s an all american, as important as Zach Cole to St. Joe’s.

I think Cole gets NEC player of the year. NEC offensive player of the year is a coin toss between those 2.

Cole caught one in the knee, a freak play on a scrum.
He did come back in the game.
