This was promising. Researchers probably learned from this. COVID-19 is expected to lead to an increase incidence of heart disease. Anything that we can do to save lives is important:

Re: All things CoronaVirus
Just how badly do Democrats want to lose this Fall?!!!
Check today’s latest fascist response from Team Left.
California officials raid three preschools for failing to make children aged two to four wear masks then 'isolate' and INTERVIEW the kids about face covering policy
San Diego parents were furious after California regulators raided three pre-schools in San Diego and questioned children about their mask policies
One parent recalled being 'frustrated, angry, aghast and confused upon finding out that their toddler was questioned by state officials without parental consent
Aspen Leaf Preschool faced a Type A citation as a result of the investigation, meaning it poses an 'immediate' threat to child health or safety
The school, which refused to enforce the state's face masks requirements, is appealing the citation from the California Department of Social Services
Owner Howard Wu argues that the agency does not have the authority to issue citations because a separate agency put forth the mask rules
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... dlers.html
You have got to be kidding me?!?!!
I have so many friends in California who are beyond disgusted with the leftward lurch of their government. They voted for this, but didn’t understand the lack of common sense in their political hero’s. I can tell you one thing, they’re all switching votes in November. Unreal.

Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah

How did we get to the point where thousands of deaths a month is just OK, moving on? Interesting and sad article:
https://www.theatlantic.com/health/arch ... te/626972/
Every American who died of COVID left an average of nine close relatives bereaved. Roughly 9 million people—3 percent of the population—now have a permanent hole in their world that was once filled by a parent, child, sibling, spouse, or grandparent. An estimated 149,000 children have lost a parent or caregiver. Many people were denied the familiar rituals of mourning—bedside goodbyes, in-person funerals. Others are grieving raw and recent losses, their grief trampled amid the stampede toward normal. “I’ve known multiple people who didn’t get to bury their parents or be with their families, and now are expected to go back to the grind of work,” says Steven Thrasher, a journalist and the author of The Viral Underclass, which looks at the interplay between inequalities and infectious diseases. “We’re not giving people the space individually or societally to mourn this huge thing that’s happened.”
