1. Yale had a very good day. Cornell showed flashes of brilliance. I came away thinking that our chances in a rematch were much better that I had anticipated.
I agree, I don't expect that either team will repeat their respective level of play, should they meet again. And I hope that we see them in the ILT.

I think QK has our ranking about right with our weaknesses considered, however I’m confident our FO and midfield production will improve and give us upward potential. Assuming a healthy Raz I think we will fair better at FO, I think we have experience and talent at midfield that will step up, team defense is my question/concern at this point.

As mentioned earlier there will be a number of bubble teams come selection time, our two losses should not negatively impact us but will need a good run from here, I don’t think we want to depend on the ILT as our entry ticket to the tournament.

As far as I can tell tell, anyone with a valid email address can register.
Thank you, I'll have to check that one out.

Is there an Ivy streaming service that's different than ESPN?

It's called Stretch. I'm not at my computer with the details. I've used it when traveling. You can purchase by the month or by game. It's part of a larger streaming platform.

There is likely someone who can explain it better than I can.

Umm 2021 recruit... I thought this was against the rules. Very interesting as it has been confirmed.

As a quick note, "Adanac" is Canada spelled backwards.

Not an expert but my understanding is that Jack Charboneau is currently a junior at Terry Fox Secondary in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia, class of 2020, thus eligible to be recruited. In his personal statement he says he wants to "re-class" for another year until 2021 when he will enroll at Cornell. I'm guessing it's the equivalent of a post graduate year.

He deserves and has earned it. I watched the entire YALE game, and really, the score could have been much worse, but Chayse came up big many times. I only saw 1 goal where I thought he should have made the save, and on a few, he did a great job of getting a piece but not enough to stop it.

He is obviously our future goalie, and for him to be starting already, and facing MULTIPLE #1 teams in the country is a testament to his skills and kudos to the coaches for having this much confidence in him.

WOW, its going to be COLD at the Kopf tonight, but they have been away so long, that I miss seeing them live, so I will wear everything I own and go sit with the other crazies that show up tonight.

Good news is 0% chance of precipitation....winds not too bad (multiply by about four in The Kopf) and calming down a bit as the temp drops a bit. Predicted 41* at game time, 8 mph winds, dropping to 37* by game's end with 6 mph winds.
You meant to say all the Jets gear you own, right jw?

Every piece of Green I have will be on tonight. I know the Kopf and 41 and 8 mph winds means it will feel like about 20, if we are lucky. As long as they dont run out of hot coffee, i should survive.

Dartmouth's getting a new indoor facility next year, must be the Mennonites are moving up that way too. Put a nice Big Green metal roof on top, will look nice and those babies never leak.
Could put one of those up in Ithaca with a Big Red roof on it...would work like a champ.

Just checked into the StB game. 3 min into Q2, and it's 12-1 Cornell. Buncha Red numbers I don't recognize on the field already. Ierlan in goal.

The starters played a quarter and a half, we played all FOUR goalies, and we got our first glimpse of the talent of #44. He is fast, he can dodge, and he definitely has a shooters mentality with the ability to shoot from all angles, high, low etc.

It was COLD. I hope its a little warmer on Saturday as the PENN game is going to be huge. Penn is playing great right now and the RED will have to be firing on all cylinders. Having the starters only playing about 20 minutes should have them well rested for Saturday.

Another great win for Hobart over Colgate helping our SOS.

Looking forward to 1pm saturday.

Thanks, Joe Willie! Great update. I watched the first half on replay. As noted, the Big Red started substituting very early. I counted at least 6 long poles who played in the first half (possibly 8). It was good to hear Terry Cullen on the commentary. The Bonnies' Goalie and one of their key offensive players are both from the Hill Academy. Brett Dobson, the goalie, wears #45, as does Clarke Petterson of Cornell. The attacker, Sean Westley, wears #51, which I assume is in honor of Jeff Teat. We may hear more of Dobson as his career progresses. He did a really good job in net.

I have not been a Big Red fan since the mid 1970s, but having watched a couple installments of The Season, I have nothing but admiration for the Cornell lacrosse program. Count me back on board as pulling for you.
