Congrats to Cornell in a solid win over Lehigh 9-5, Brown in a tight one over Vermont 12-11, and how about Penn over Duke in OT!

Congrats to the Big Green, MD. As you know, I have been on the Hincks bandwagon for a long time and he had himself another big day.

Princeton played aggressively against Maryland today. They were a lot more athletic than I thought they'd be, and it clearly affected Maryland. It helped that Peters had 19 saves. I left the game thinking that Princeton was going to give Ivy teams a lot of trouble.

Baring a major upset in Columbus (which I'd welcome), my guesses for Ivy POW include:

Chase Ireland, (Cornell) with 75% saved against Lehigh

Devon McClay, (Brown) with seven points against a tough UVM team

Dylan Gerger (Penn) with six goals against Duke.

For Princeton, it's great to see Peters go from strength to strength in goal. He's certainly worked for it.

Anyone have the skinny on the Yale Penn State contest?...looks like goalies had big days!

Neither team was very good today. Penn St was better. Yale dominated faceoffs, Penn St couldn’t clear their throats and Yale’s zone offense & shooting were terrible. Penn St’s offense and ball movement was better than Yale’s and that was the difference.
