Navy wins FO. Trying to bleed clock. 13-6. Dagger if you even thought Hof had a chance.

Hof only 13 shots on goal and game almost over. Ryan making spectacular saves on those shots according to announcers.

Solid win in all phases. Ryan was outstanding in goal.
Narrowly lost the FO stats (10-13), but post-draw damage limited & several possessions regained due to wing play & loose ball situations.

Can't let up against Manhattan. Don't eat LI clams until post-game.

Why is the Manhattan game at Hofstra instead of at Manhattan?

Maybe Manhattan did not want to travel up to the Bronx after playing at Hofstra on Friday?

No audio?

No audio was planned. Video only.

4-3 Man at the half. Navy's flat. 12 TO's. Jaspers the better team, so far.

N 7-M 6 after 3Q. Jasper D looks good. Navy dominating FO's 12-2. Jasper's hanging in & still the better team

Whew ! Navy 9 - Manhattan 6. Navy dominated FO's but had 21 TO's

Was that Loyola in those green uni's ? It looked like it, the way they matched up & played Navy.

Jasper's Team D was outstanding. I could see them in the MAAC Champ game again this season.

Sunday's win was tougher than Friday's for Navy.

Take the win, get some rest, refocus, and move on. As alluded to above, that Jaspers team can really play some defense!

Before we anoint the Jasper’s defense, VMI scored more goals against Manhattan than Navy did.

Hofstra – It was good to see the MIDS travel up to LI and re-establish a recruiting presence that is deeply needed.

Offensively the MIDS looked sharp with pinpoint passing and great 6 v 6 execution. The 1st MIDS took a majority of the runs with the 2nd MIDS logging quality minutes. The MIDS offense runs through 28 and 29, if they are “on”, look out folks. I think 29 x4, 28x2, 10x3, 43, 32 and 22 with Goal(s).

Defensively the MIDS were solid, 34 is the Alpha of the bunch and Goalie play was exceptional. SSDM 5 seems to play a little too much offense IMO.

The Navy FOGO’s dominated the “X” all night with excellent technique and GRIT !

Manhattan

The MIDS were sloppy and undisciplined from the start.

Offensively, The 1st MIDS struggled with basic fundamental skills of passing and catching. 28 and 29 seems to be in slow motion and showed little discipline. Balls flying all over the place, missed opportunities and zero energy. This midfield line needs to be changed. 2nd Line also looked flat, but didn't get many REPS. The Coaches decided to run the horses to get the “W”. Goals by 29, 21, 10, 28, 6 and Sick Pole Goal by 34 . The MIDS will need more than 28, 29 to make a run into May.

Defensively, The MIDS were flat and looked confused on slides and match-ups.

If I had to guess, The MIDS put all their weekly planning into Hofstra and didn’t scout/prep for Manhattan at all.
Not ideal, but during exam week with tons of moving military parts. Getting 2 Wins is all that matters.

Still no sign of #24. The Staff has created a tremendous amount hype around one player. Any idea if he is practicing or with the team ?

Saw #24 in helmet, jersey & sweat pants in the end game scrum around the goalie on Sun. He looked "dressed out" for the game.
