That sounds about right, maybe shade lower scoring. Think Hopkins can score but just can’t see them winning enough matchups the way they did vs Towson and they’d need to shoot it just as well to win if that’s the case and that’ll be tough

Curious to see Georgetown’s offense. Carraway loss has seemed to go a little under the radar, but it’s big. Haley has to take the next step. But that defense and midfield…man.

Guessing they scouted Georgetown’s 3 scrimmages. This is no surprise.

Uggh. That’s too bad about Haley. Big loss. But I think given the weather this might be more of a defensive battle today. With Gtowns close D and goalie, I give them a slight edge in a close one. Go Hoyas!

I am re-posting here because FloSports can easily scam you into a $150 yearly subscription that you cannot get a refund from:

The “service” that Georgetown uses defaults you to a yearly $150 plan. They basically trick you into that if you are not careful. Cancelling the plan does NOT get you your money back. They simply won’t renew your $150 plan.

I have been on the phone with my bank for nearly an hour to stop the transaction.

Georgetown should be f*cking embarrassed to be associated with FloSports.

Just happened to me as well. Filed a support request on their website. We will see how that goes, but it sounds like I should just dispute the charge with my CC.

Terrible. CBSSports was bad enough. Was hoping for better.

Should note that the $150 FloSports charges for a year is much more expensive than a full year subscription to the ESPN streaming service, and there is no way that FloSports offers better sports coverage.

It’s a scam and Georgetown is a disgrace for participating in the scam.

If so, then the Big East is participating in a scam.

An important update:

FloSports wrote back to me and now claims that the $12.50 monthly option was never available. If you notice, that option is in a lighter shade. The yearly plan is the ONLY option you have.

FloSports is now offering a $29.99 one month “discontinued” subscription in its place, which is still more than the completely non-existent $12.50 monthly option.

Here is the email from their customer service bot. Seems like they anticipated angry responses from cheated customers:

Very impressive start, and without Haley at X. Hopkins is a solid well-coached team but after the first Q jitters for GU it wasn't close.

A healthy Watson is a killer, and Trippi is a carbon copy of Petkevich, and may be more dangerous. Morin was solid and Bundy was very patient with shooting and passed well with 4 assists.

Bowen was as advertised, you did not know Donaldson was out there (in a good way!), and the D middies played well, especially in the middle of the field. And McElroy is a truly great goalie, with his athleticism around the cage and clears an added bonus.
