Presser offered to meet the W&L folks in Lynchburg. Low profile , made it easy for both sides. They refused to even drive to Lynchburg.

Catholic visits LYN @ 3:00 this afternoon for scrimmage. Last weeks UVA provided good film and they had a great practice.
Crowley is a handful and they also have a stud pole so should a great afternoon for both squads.
W&L opens with Catholic next week so they should be in attendance and get a good scouting report.
If anyone goes a summary or updates would be great.

Pretty sure live scouting has been illegal for the last 4/5 years.

Certainly wouldn't mind updates after games but all of the single posts the other day from the scrimmage were a bit much for this board.

HSC vs Stevenson this weekend- just a scrimmage- two top 20 teams. Think this is going to be a big test for HSC, lost fogo and are going to have a lot of new faces on offense. Should be exciting and is good for the conference

to each his own. it sounded like a number of people were appreciative.

this website and thread crawls. personally, i don't get the objection (that you're not alone with) people have with posts of almost any variety vs. no or fewer posts. i try to figure the human cost, but i'm stumped.

LYN played fast, looked good in all aspects of game. Defense starting to come into form. Handled Catholic fairly easy 14-6. Subbed liberally 2nd half.

Give us more scrimmage content. I love hearing how teams are performing heading into game 1. It's a lacrosse forum, we're supposed to talk about this stuff!

And while the claim that the HSC goalie is the best in the country is a strong one, it's not too far off. Fills up the cage at 6'3" 240. Started 13 games going 11-2 in 2021. 9.4 GAA / 54% sv. 8 games in double digit saves. Middlebury transfer who saw the field as a freshmen up there too.

I'd be interested to see how HSC goalie fares vs the Lynchburg goalie in 2022, as the Lynchburg goalie was sitting behind 3 senior D who were multi year starters, including ODAC POY Gallagher last season.

Nice slate of games this weekend. Noke/CNU is a big one. All signs point to a CNU win, but would love to see what Noke can bring to the table. As Dehunt has said multiple times, ODAC needs a strong Roanoke.

CNU will flex their muscles in this contest showing what a true top 10 team looks like. Won’t be their best game but could push for 15+ goals. Lynchburg will do the same emptying the bench in 4th qtr. W&L had better win though I have no idea what to expect from the O. I suspect the D will play reasonably well. We will see what the goalie has in him. Hoping for a clean game, low turnovers, 60% face offs hold the opponent to under 10, shoot 30% plus clear 82% plus

I don’t think W&L will struggle. LYN let in 6 against Catholic as their defense is starting to gel. W&L D should contain.
Witherall, Dardini and Mize should anchor offense in a 12-9 win. Looking forward to this one and really hoping to see what Mize can do if he stays healthy
