W&L and VMI reconvene their contest today I believe. They are calling it a scrimmage but it will be much more than that. Hope someone can post results and add some color to the contest. Curious as to goal play and starting attack. Also like to hear about Hillis Burns I referenced him on the W&L thread he may be the best of the incoming freshman.I expect the D to be solid, face offs maybe slightly improved but not sure where the O is going to come from. They’ve got a very tough schedule this year 12-5 best or 10-7 worst is where I see them falling

I'mmmmm backkkkkk! Sgo Gennies! Hopefully they can get a couple wins in the ODAC this year. My prediction is 3-7 in the ODAC. Foreseeing many injuries for the gennies that will cause them great losses throughout the season.

At the scrimmage. 39, rainy and foggy. 30 minutes to FO. Generals just walking up to the field.

4-3 end of one. W&L had 2 men up and didn’t get a shot off and then committed a tripping on VMI’s clear wasting a great opportunity.

8-3 half. So if I am W&L I am happy with ball movement. Defense is not as good as score indicates. VMI shot selection is abysmal and early in shot clock giving W&L lots of possession time. Offense is bright spot with good ball movement. For some reason W&L has iso’ed against VMI’s pole #39 about six times with 3 TOs and no shots.

If I am VMI I am explaining there is no 2 point line so why are we playing catch with the goalie?
