Re: 2022 Spring Srimmages
Richmond v Delaware on Friday looked pretty even. Maybe 3-2 Spiders at the half? Did some 6v6 on both ends at halftime, then opened up the benches to start Q3. Hens might have "won" the second half by a goal or two. Mike Robinson and Dalton Young each scored on first half. Both keepers looked solid. Richmond won the FO game in first half.
Good to see both squads get out and run--and do it indoors. St. James was a real nice facility for it w/ perhaps 200+ people there--fans of both teams and local lax guys eager for something to watch.

Re: 2022 Spring Srimmages
Terps ahead of BU 15-5 after 3 quarters. It was 6-1 at half. Both goalies played well. Reserves for both teams went to a 4-4 draw in the 4th. Scoreless first quarter. Wisnauskas and Malever took control in the 2nd quarter. Daniel Kelly had a hat trick by the end of the 3rd for the Terps. McNaney only gives up 3 goals before giving way in the 3rd. Heard that the Terp FOGOs started slow (against Terp transfer Calderone) but evened things out through 3 quarters. Prybylski played closes and LSM. Looked good at LSM. Ajaz Zappitello played at close with Makar and Rahill.
Don't know how things looked from the BU side.

Terps tuition is a lot less then most. Money does matter correct?
Re: 2022 Spring Srimmages
maryland has one guy on the roster that went to public school.
obv, they have a number of others from md. but they're all in. and could replace them if necessary. so no, it doesn't really matter.

Not that it matters but apparently Hobart “beat” Michigan 11-10 in 5. Was 3-1 Bart after one, 4-3 at half, 9-9 through 4 and 2-1 in the 5th quarter so Conroy is ready to compete in the NEC finally!
Seriously though I heard Mich was staying over to scrimmage Cuse tomorrow but no legit confirmation on that matter.

Re: 2022 Spring Srimmages
hoos absolutely roasted a decent midshipmen team today. don't love uva's ooc schedule, but they look ready for week 1.
Re: 2022 Spring Srimmages
navy ran the same starting attack they had vs unc, and the same 1st mids, although with one of them anchoring the 2nd line? 2mids ran against against vmi. about every scrimmage sees some alternate mixing and matching, and some guys out. i have no doubt navy had a couple other than 2 mids out of their regular rotation.
hoos were only down 1 close d and 1 middie, and 1 depth ssdm. the most significant development of the day may have been the backup fogo going down in their 2nd scrimmage. if it's significant injury, the only backup on the roster is an lsm to mix it up. could be a problem.

I do count a handful from public school eg at least two from Severna Park, but the vast majority are indeed private school.CrazyPeople wrote: ↑Mon Jan 31, 2022 6:31 pmLol thats just not true.
Not sure what the discussion was about, so why relevant?
In state is indeed 'cheap'.

Re: 2022 Spring Srimmages
Was really disappointed with unc against mount. For a team that is supposed to be a blue chip national contender they let mount hang around way to long- final score 11-10. I get they didn't have starters in the whole game but, realistic second string guys should still be able to stick it to a middle of the pack NEC school. I will say though was very impress with 42 on mount- from what I can tell is a red shirt junior who is stepping into the starting role. Had four goals and really was a leader out there and made some heads up plays.
