I read last week that someone that purposely got covid had a failed experiment…..it’s like testing a bungee cord. It’s all downside if it doesn’t work…..waiting for his acolytes to run out and do the same.Farfromgeneva wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 3:30 pmBuy a viatical settlement in his life insurance stat!Typical Lax Dad wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 3:00 pm

Eric Clapton has lost whatever mind he ever had.
“Then I started to realize there was really a memo, and a guy, Mattias Desmet [professor of clinical psychology at Ghent University in Belgium], talked about it,” Clapton continued. “And it’s great. The theory of mass formation hypnosis. And I could see it then. Once I kind of started to look for it, I saw it everywhere.”

Is there a bias towards assuming people with English accents are smarter than they really are? Sort of like thinking that people with Southern accents are stupider than they really are?

FDA halting shipments of Regeneron and Eli Lilly monoclonal antibodies. Both are ineffective against omicron.
Of course this will be made into a conspiracy theory that the government is withholding perfectly good therapeutics.

The latter may be true based on my personal experience. Whenever someone says “bless their heart”? Open season to punch those folks in the face.PizzaSnake wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 4:54 pm Is there a bias towards assuming people with English accents are smarter than they really are? Frontline doctors in Missouri have very likely found a clue to what is going on with some Long COVID cases, perhaps all. MAST cell activation!

Well yeah... "bless your heart" is just the polite way to say "you're an effing idiot" in the south. It does have other meanings depending on the context.

Yeah I unfortunately married into Deep South effete old history family. Have learned more than id ever hope to know about the printing of confederate money and the difference between loaning artifacts and donating in a squabble with an old liberal arts college in Greenville sc their family founded. Pretty much uncertain if I’d call 911 if my wife’s grandmother had a heart attack and I was witness…NattyBohChamps04 wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 9:38 pmFarfromgeneva wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 7:31 pm The latter may be true based on my personal experience.
