it's a legitimate question to ask (begs the question?) about how ready we are to push for wide access. monoclonals... i'm not sure what kind of investment has been made by .gov in this country of $4-6 trillion budgets, maybe someone can answer... monoclonals are still in limited supply, ya?Typical Lax Dad wrote: ↑Wed Dec 22, 2021 8:30 amWe ain’t working on therapeutics?tech37 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 22, 2021 7:34 amAll well and good I suppose. US Army Creates Single Vaccine Effective Against All COVID, SARS Variants
Within weeks, Walter Reed researchers expect to announce that human trials show success against Omicron—and even future strains.
The anti-vax issue doesn't go away and probably won't. Unless mandates are enforced, we're not going to see any new takers, just my opinion.
I keep harping on it but that is why we need therapeutics access for everyone no matter how many vaccines are developed. That will be the game changer.

less than a week ago, the wh declined to answer what kind of support they'd give to increasing supply, even a nod to it. i suspect if it sails thru eua, we'll get some kind of push, maybe a major one, and hurrahs all around for spending our money wisely. especially now that vaxx uptake has stalled.
