Didn't the anti-vaccination movement start long before there were any "internet personalities" and was rooted in religion? And doesn't the, vaccines causes autism idea, predate "internet personalities" too? Much of that I think was due to the fear caused by an actual rise in autism? In general I think anti-vaxx sentiment easily predates today's social media, don't you?

You understand that, right?---that our REAL vaxx rate was 93%+ for DECADES until CovidVaxxes showed up.

All 50 States STILL have mandatory vaccination laws on the books, Tech. Every one of them. So that destroys any idea of "they don't trust the government". Yeah...they do trust the government. Well over 90% of us do.

Throw in a toxic political climate and pandemic and you have the perfect storm. Hard to say but perhaps the narrative created by Biden/Harris et al, during the campaign, that no one should trust/take the "Trump vaccines" caused as much damage if not more than any "internet personality."

Haven't the majority of deaths caused by Covid been older folks, most with comorbidities? I highly doubt those deaths are due to influence from any "internet personality."

Peak hospitalizations in the US were about 130,000 in early January 2021 and almost reached 90,000 this past august with the Delta surge, and right now we're in the 60's, up from the 40's as we came down off of the Delta crest...looks like we're gonna go up and up, but what do folks on here predict?

Omicron is spreading like wildfire, but hospitalizations appear to be almost entirely among unvaccinated and/or, to lesser extent, unboosted if vaccinated. Still a lot of those as only about 1 in 6 of us are boosted, though that's growing now...
