PROVIDENCE 2019
Anybody watch the scrimmages they had on Long Island?
MAC - The SEC of DIII lacrosse.
Re: PROVIDENCE 2019
Ty Thureson (2020) M from Stillwater HS (MN) committed to Providence.
Re: PROVIDENCE 2019
Only 5 wins in 2018, a bad start to 2019, 3 straight losses to Sacred Heart, more blown leads in 4Q. (And send that program embarrassing dad back home on the next ferry)
All the investment in the program. Are we seeing the expected results?

Re: PROVIDENCE 2019
Providence is riding nothing but positive momentum going into the Big East tourney.
Saturday was the perfect way to cap off a regular season in front of a Senior Day / Alumni heavy crowd.
3-2 in conference play with a close loss against Georgetown and a game at Denver where they hung with them up until the fourth on a short week.
Tate Boyce has been stellar as of late, and the defense in front of him (which is full of new names) seems to have finally found there identity.
When the Friar offense is clicking it is a tough one to beat. The 5, 6, 25 attack line is a dangerous one and the midfield has a lot of weapons.
Tournament this weekend seems to showcase 4 teams that all have a legitimate shot at winning the thing. With Thursday offering a boat load of games the Big East will offer 2 of the 3 cant miss contests (Terps vs. jays encore as well)

Re: PROVIDENCE 2019
I saw someone post on Boyce as Big East player of the year.
I couldn’t disagree with that choice.
One of the more amazing goalies out there, 27 saves against St. Joe’s, I mean, come on.
I re-watched that game.
Boyce made it seem easy.
