I’m talking walking to field and parents spread out on track sideline. It’s only a very few. But struck me as deleterious “bubble boy” behavior. Obviously there could be some unknown circumstance but it was both too many to be idiosyncratic yet too few to be a trendTypical Lax Dad wrote: ↑Sat Dec 04, 2021 10:53 amThe risk of transmission outdoors is minimal (I believe)…at the very least, it’s much safer. Here's a list - https://universitybusiness.com/state-by ... -vaccines/Typical Lax Dad wrote: ↑Fri Dec 03, 2021 11:11 pmNope. She has COVID too. Wife will get tested tomorrow. As a teacher, she should put her life on the line even if students don’t want to protect her…..
Until I saw this list I didn't realize there were some - no, many - colleges that were requiring employee vaccination but not student vaccination. Sorry, TLD, I guess only student health deserves protection, and students at those schools must only be able to get Covid from faculty and staff.
Edit to add: Update - Tennessee college staff OR student? No safety for any of you! https://www.yahoo.com/lifestyle/school- ... 56447.html

I actually don’t get the chart because when I look at the data it looks worse for unvaxxed. Or is the point to look at a chart and not the data?

DiBlasio is still a clown
Apparently per news reports on TV though I don’t see it in print yet that he’s implementing a private sector vaxx mandate. Gotta get his before he’s tossed out of Gracie for a NJ resident so he can run for Gov. So silly.

Just saw a report this morning, that a very early look at limited data on Omicron is that it appears to be more transmissible than Delta but significantly less virulent. If this turns out to be true, then the latest mutations may be taking it more towards flu or even common cold which would be truly fantastic news especially if it were to supplant Delta.Typical Lax Dad wrote: ↑Mon Dec 06, 2021 8:02 amWhat is your inference or conclusion from the data?youthathletics wrote: ↑Mon Dec 06, 2021 7:46 am Compelling: https://ourworldindata.org/grapher/unit ... =~All+ages
Still early, but I recall a medical expert saying recently that it is not in the virus' interest to kill its host.

Possibly good news, no doubt.

Might be why we saw a steep drop in the 7-day death avg in Florida beginning just after Ron made monoclonal available to damned near anyone in late August: https://www.flgov.com/2021/08/12/govern ... y-centers/
