They all play tough, it's highly competitive D1 lax played by well conditioned, talented athletes who are trying to win a game. It's always the other team who doesn't play clean lacrosse.

Am not saying that at all. Lot of different styles of play out there, lot of aggressive teams, lot of very tough Ds out there.
Borderline dirty to you might just be very tough and tenacious to another...including the refs. I don't think any team is coached to play dirty. Yes, I've watched Florida play. Cuse too and they've been accused of playing dirty but they don't.

Have you seen fall ball before? games are called much looser than during regular season and is also is training for new refs. It's not at all indicative of dirty play.

HAHAHAHA....parents are an absolutely awful source. They see things through rose colored glasses through the specter of how it plays out for their own kids and kids team. I would say that, me included, in games their child is in parents have little objectivity.

...which is also part of what I was responding to. Green cards mean you play “woman down” for 1 minute and Syracuse got 2 of those in the 2nd half if memory serves.

I think the brush stroke is a little too broad on this statement. I give parents a little more credit than that.
