Thanks I like to keep moving forwards so didn’t check but had looked up jucos wondering why we couldn’t get more at Hobart, particularly out of Onondaga, recently.
Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah

Oh yeah. It's all coming together. Welcome to the Black and Gold
@mweisshaar21

#UnitedWeRoar x #SigningDay2021

In the end Towson fought off poachers from Virginia, Notre Dame, Syracuse, and Maryland among others to get their best recruit in years.
good for the tigers, good to see them fighting off for their guy. those teams get plenty of guys.

they've added smartly recently in the transfer market, too. or so it seems. all of it can translate into more momentum if they capitalize.

Congrats on Weisshaar! He is awesome! Bet it is, due to other programs courting him(as mentioned above), at least somewhat of a sigh of relief for Towson.

Surprised by the lack of activity in this group, very intriguing year with a lot of tough opponents before conference play starts. This team is flying under the radar this preseason, but has the potential to surprise. Hearing that the Duke game will be played at Audi Field, along with the UVA Maryland game

Show us an example. I didn't really see anything that interesting.

There's nothing to really talk about because there's no roster out, not a lot of previews available, so in some ways this team is a mystery, But with most of the defense and goaltender back, it's the same.

Yeah just the usual chip on their shoulder, overlooked in the rankings, will be a tough game stuff.

Towson looks similar to last year. Defense should be really sound and keep them in a lot of games, but question will be do they have enough dodgers to do damage on the offensive end. But they bring back a good chunk of the offensive production so finally a chance to have some stability and continuity after the up and down and crazy last couple years.

Early Preseason Starters Predictions:
Goalie - Brennan
Defense - Smith, Zungailia, Barsz
Midfield - Berkeley, Swain, Milani/Gallagher
Attack - DeMaio, Avanzato, Shilling

Brennan will be a stud w/ a better defense and Smith will be primed for a huge year. Faceoffs can't get any worse, which will only help this year. The MD transfers will be a huge part of this team's success

Didnt you attend Towson? You are forthright about your rooting interest in Terps and then Hop but somewhat surprise that you dont promote your alma mater as they have had a good program and its share of successes . Should be able to rise again.

Avanzato helped them last year , do you think younger DeMaio will? Some do actually believe they will be better .

DeMaio showed some flashes in his time at Maryland that I think he’ll be a really good add. Avanzato is a good player. The key for them will be finding a Sunday or Drenner, those are the type of guys who have sparked their offenses which usually are otherwise lagging behind the great defense. Not sure either guy is at that level but hope I’m wrong

Towson under the Radar is dangerous. Only hearing Positives, and couple Maryland transfers fitting in just fine.
Look at all the one goal and OT games last year. Literally 4 or 5 goals from being 9-5 or 8-6. CAA Has 3/4 Very good teams this year. I believe it's a 2 Bid league. Cannot wait for College Lacrosse to start.

Agree, I think Towson will have a bounce back year this year. Towson, Delaware, and Drexel could all be very talented with a chance to beat some OOC opponents

Towson, Delaware, Drexel is the correct threesome from the
CAA — although I’d order things Hens, Tigers, Dragons.

Unfortunately, for the time being at least, the chances of the CAA being a 2 bid league are still slim IMO

So is there going to be a double header at the Audi Stadium on 3/19? MD vs UVA and Duke vs Towson?
