The line for the rebuked on this forum forms on the left. Please fall in right behind 06, he's usually at the front.

Maybe I am not quite following the thread line here but my attempt at humor was not meant to rebuke 44 at all but a reference to a recent diatribe of the poster that is blasting Daniels for a book that he hasn't likely read. I haven't read it either so I have zero opinion on it.
Re: Johns Hopkins 2022
I couldn't follow the thread either, but I figured a joke was in order anyway. Not enough jokes around here for my tastes. Too much seriousness.51percentcorn wrote: ↑Tue Nov 16, 2021 11:33 am Maybe I am not quite following the thread line here but my attempt at humor was not meant to rebuke 44 at all but a reference to a recent diatribe of the poster that is blasting Daniels for a book that he hasn't likely read. A little treat for the Hopkins faithful: All eleven Hop goals from the Richmond scrimmage, up close and slowed down.

Awesome. The Epstein goal at 0:52 and assist at 1:01 is a beautiful sequence!Hoponboard wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 12:37 am A little treat for the Hopkins faithful: All eleven Hop goals from the Richmond scrimmage, up close and slowed down.

Also, Grimes looks like he's been spending time in the weight room.
Re: Johns Hopkins 2022
Shack used to be good at that type of shot, using the turf to give the ball some spin. Incredibly difficult to do and when done well it's basically unsaveable. It is evident that Joey puts a ton of time into his shooting. He doesn't sling it with much velocity but I haven't seen better placement in a very long time, if ever. The ball goes exactly where he wants it to every time.primitiveskills wrote: ↑Wed Nov 17, 2021 11:18 amAwesome. Game Sunday night 3/20 at Delaware: https://bluehens.com/news/2021/11/18/me ... edule.aspx
Dates that are locked in:
1/29 at Denver (scrimmage)
2/5 vs. Jacksonville
2/11 at Towson
3/20 at Delaware
3/26 Homecoming vs. probably Michigan
Sounds like 2/19 might be home vs. Loyola but not confirmed. We know the dates of the B1G tourney and regular season games, just waiting on exact order and locations. So basically just waiting to hear about times/locations of Georgetown, Navy, UNC, Cuse, UVA.

Re: Johns Hopkins 2022
I am hearing the B1G will copy what would have been 2020 scheduled. So that would have Maryland playing @ Hopkins

2/19 is home vs Loyola...that is confirmed. Loyola opens up the week before at Maryland and the week after (2/26) host Rutgers at RidleyHopFan16 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 18, 2021 1:30 pm Game Sunday night 3/20 at Delaware: https://bluehens.com/news/2021/11/18/me ... edule.aspx

would've thought that fernandez returning from injury would've made this list.

Just heard the annual Turkey Bowl and practices this week were cancelled in the mlax and wlax programs due to Covid cases in the programs.

Re: Johns Hopkins 2022
Don’t recall Hop making the football title game. Have made a few quarters in the last decade. CC has gotten tougher though after F&M and Dickinson fell off there wasn’t much competition but now Muhlenberg and Susquehanna have come up to provide some competition. Muhlenberg being the class of the league last 2-3yrs (ironically a Hobart alum took over as HC 4-5yrs ago, Nate Milne, terrific talent who was quite the clown, once had a sack dance he tried in a game called the defibrillator and coach Cragg nearly caught a case in his response to MR Milnes celebration).51percentcorn wrote: ↑Mon Nov 15, 2021 7:01 am The last time Hopkins football lost more than 3 games was 2007 - went to the NCAA title game three seasons ago
The bigger sports news is the women's volleyball team's repeat dreams and 66 match streak are over - lost 3-1 to Tufts
Field Hockey (Final Four) and Women's Soccer (round of 16) still alive
Women's XC just marches on - I know it's a smaller/niche sport but in the NCAA regionals they placed 5 of the first 6 runners - going for 7th national title

Re: Johns Hopkins 2022
No worries. I just pay particularly close attention to D3 football as Hobart has also built a program up from not much the first 70-80yrs during my time there and the CC and LL are fairly comparable, think the LL has had a little more depth at the top since it’s formation (2004) but there’s been plenty of games between the two leagues. Thought my old age was making my mind slip but yes I recall 08. Some of the deep Midwest and Texas schools have been complaining about the path of what was the NE regional pod (unofficially but driven but a 500mi travel rule in D3) for nearly 20yrs which led to a change that’s started this year. Will be interesting to see how that changes things for NE heavy representation in D3 football going forward. (For example the centennial conference was considered south for most of the last two decades but the MAC and PAC were East, what they use to refer to the NE).

Re: Johns Hopkins 2022
I don't believe there were any Covid cases on men's team. A ton of the guys did test positive for the flu last week though. There were a couple of Covid cases on the women's team last week however and with close contacts included meant quite a few girls had to go home for Thanksgiving early.
Re: Johns Hopkins 2022
Good to know. Does that mean the school and or program is cancelling practices or workouts for the flu now?hmmm wrote: ↑Mon Nov 22, 2021 1:17 pmI don't believe there were any Covid cases on men's team.
