BREAKING: U.S. inflation was up 6.2% in October over a year ago. That’s the highest inflation in 31 years.

Inflation was up 0.9% in Oct. alone, a much higher increase than 0.4% in Sept. and 0.3% in August.

Prices are rising for food, energy, shelter, used cars and new cars.

Great administration.
Gas is up 40$ since last year.
Well, I like his tweets. And my family is doing great! So what do I care?

Boy, I sure learned a lot from you guys the last four years on how to look at things properly. Thanks for that!

By the way, you guys are completely F'ing insane to complain about this guy. Jeez.
I'll give credit where credit is due. Salaries are up 11%.
Except that isn't the increase due to businesses trying to entice workers back to work more than anything else?

Yeah, I tried that. Especially in local elections. Know what they did? They blew even more money on Socialized K-12 and Higher Ed, so long as it was THEIR kids who got it. The only thing that upsets them is when "someone else's kids" gets the tax money.

Afans moist straight forward, transparent 'heart of the matter' post in the politics thread. One that I believe most all of us agree with....in essence, just fed up. Although, please do not let that stop us from fighting with each other. ;)

Well, if you haven't noticed-----I'm a frustrated fiscal conservative that desperately wants 1970's era Republicans, who walked the walk, to return to American politics. Pay our bills. Use our GDP to bully other countries around in terms of superior infrastructure and training for our people. Stay out of our private lives.

If they did that? They'd win every election. All of them. It sucks that we can't fine them anymore. So I get frustrated with R's in particular.

We're entering the dangerous kamikaze phase of the Democrat's all-out War on the Middle Class. As with Obamacare, leadership will be telling imperiled Dems their seats are a small price to pay for inflicting irreversible changes on the American people.

There is no one on Earth as rapacious, greedy, and materialistic as a socialist politician. Dems understand that grabbing our money ends a political battle. Once the spending bills are passed, budget baselines rise, and government employees are hired, there is no going back.

Many Dems will march into 2022 knowing their seats are lost. They'll grab what they can on the way out. Angry voters will change Congress, for a few years - but the Democrat Party will change the voters forever. You will never be free of the debt they inflict on you.

It’s a war of ideas and hearts, that’s for sure. But I’m not too worried. Latinos coming to the Republican Party is what will positively alter the course of America for the next 100 years, and not a minute too soon.

Listened to Bidens speech today at Port of Balt. Wasn't too bad....seemed to get his points across, Wished he had spent some time conveying the pain and expressing some empathy for what is going on.

But he said something that had me questioning what I heard...."When you are dealing with the climate, think jobs, good jobs, because that's how you beat the Climate Crisis....good paying jobs" WTH is he talking about here?

I also liked how he piggy backed off Trumps push for Made In America and bringin back manufacturing to the US. But he was probably playing to the Union crowd. My cynical side does not trust a damned one of them.

His nominee for comptroller of the treasury is legitimately a communist. If you think I’m exaggerating, go google her.

In any event, yesterday, she said that she hopes that companies in the energy sector ‘go bankrupt’.

Like I said, total war on middle class Americans. They’re all in.

I’m fairly sure you’re not gonna find too many guys as long strong and supportive of these great states as me. I’m even longer and stronger after last Tuesday’s elections!!

Had I been any brighter, I’d have been shouting louder that Latinos were switching over to the Republican Party, since a number of my Latino friends in Florida had been laughing at the increasingly insane Woke Olympics of the national Democratic Party. They kept telling me they were voting Republican from now on, because they disdained cancers like the Democratic embrace and prioritization of identity politics.

Now that Latinos have started making that switch, which will accelerate, I can see the trajectory of pax America. It is bright! Next Fall, I think Republicans will inch close to 300 seats in the House, control the Sebate, and expand state houses. Ed Durr is a warning sign to Democrats and all they can do is shout ‘racism’. And yes, the Democratic Party is the burden that America has carried for too long. In the end, the Party is extraordinarily bad for America in too many ways for me to recount here. It’s demise is a blessing and necessary oxygen for American achievers.

For 2024, I see Desantis as POTUS. I mean honestly, I’ve never been this positive about the United States.

Crippling Inflation is Killing Joe Biden's Build Back Better Bill

BY DARRAGH ROCHE ON 11/11/21 AT 10:55 AM EST

President Joe Biden's proposed Build Back Better Act could be at risk amid concern Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) won't back the bill with inflation already at its highest level in 30 years.

The Consumer Price Index for October recorded a 6.2 percent increase year on year in figures published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics on Wednesday, with notable rises in the price of food and energy.

...

"By all accounts, the threat posed by record inflation to the American people is not 'transitory' and is instead getting worse," Manchin wrote.

"From the grocery store to the gas pump, Americans know the inflation tax is real and DC can no longer ignore the economic pain Americans feel every day."

Manchin's recent comments may be a cause of concern for the White House in light of a statement he issued on November 1 that linked an expansion of social spending with rising inflation.

Even Larry Summers is distancing himself from Brandon!

Biden is looking like the worst President of all American history, no small feat btw. I honestly can’t think of anything he’s done that helps the middle or working class.

I’m still blown away they nominated an actual communist to Comptroller of the Treasury! Seriously! How come no Fanlax Democrats have commented on this insane nomination?!? I wake up every day wondering if I’m the one who’s lost my mind!

https://www.independent.org/news/article.asp?id=13845

Where do they find these losers?!? An actual communist. Unreal. And they aren’t in the least embarrassed. 🤡

U.S. Consumer Sentiment Drops to 10-Year Low on Inflation Fears

U.S. consumer sentiment unexpectedly collapsed in early November as Americans grew increasingly concerned about rising prices and the inflationary impact on their finances.

The University of Michigan’s preliminary sentiment index decreased to 66.8 from 71.7 in October, data released Friday showed. The November figure trailed all projections in a Bloomberg survey of economists which called for an increase to 72.5.

Please, by all means blame Biden. Then we can elect your team....who will promptly do....what, Pete? What's the plan?

This is what happens when your team borrows trillions, and then cuts taxes again and again. There's too much money in circulation.

Is your plan to raise taxes? Nope.

Is your plan to cut spending? Nope.

So guess what? All we're going to get are higher interests rates, because that's the only lever that we can pull. This is YOUR teams' PLAN, Pete. You PLANNED this, and thought that paying for what we bought was stupid.

You, as a 1%er will be fine, of course. But all those TrumpVoters? As I've been saying for over a decade now.....they're just royally Fe'd. Oh well.
