Del and Bucknell, along with Richmond, will tell how they stack up for confernce play. Would expect a spanking from Rutgers to start the season, especially as it seems like there's generally a huge advantage with 5th yrs on the field.
Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah

Other than FO, this is mostly the same Marist team that blew out Army two years ago 17-9 just after Army embarrassed Rutgers 15-4. I expect a competitive game.

Not really. Jake Weinman and Joe Tierney were huge contributors to that team.

How long can you live off the Army win lol. What team played Bucknell that year. 20 to 11 lost.

Sorry dude, but unfortunately Marist hasn’t played much since that Army win. My point was that they still have 4 of their top 6 scorers from that game and they won’t be an easy out for anyone. (BTW, it’s unfortunate that coach A. hasn’t been able to find a spot on his schedule for Marist since that loss so we could get a more recent comparison.)

It was only 7 games ago for these guys🤣 And true it’s also the same team that got destroyed by Bucknell which btw was the coldest game I’ve ever been to. H.Embury didn’t play in either game & lyons got hurt in the army game

Right a team playing 7 games in two years going against a 5th year laden team that played deep into last may is likely unprepared and going to get their heads handed to them. That’s not even a critique of Marist but constantly bringing up one win as evidence of something is more useless than any other sort of analysis or evaluation that could possibly be made about an opening game after what amounts to 20mo off against a team that’ll have deep experienced 23yr olds all over the field.

Well, I could say Marist best Hofstra, Albany and LIU this fall (lost to Vermont). More recent, but fall ball is pretty useless info too. They should probably just stay home and skip the bloodbath.

Or just put their heads down and not talk about a game two years ago and compete regardless of outcome.

Brining up the army win to make the point that the majority of the team is back isn't "living off the win"
While they haven't had a lot of games since that day(thanks admin), I think this coaching staff will have the team well prepared.

Personally, I applaud the staff for putting together such an aggressive out of conference schedule. They will find out who they are real quick.

I expect big things from the Foxes this spring. Looking forward to watching them!
