Thomas Mencke Fr A UVA
I wasn't looking for another Virginia player but he had 2 assists versus Team USA. I'll take the points as a sign of life

Re: 2022 Fantasy Lacrosse Draft
You could ask the coach if he dropped the player by DM? Either you will help a coach spot his mistake (in which we have always defaulted in giving the player back) or you'll know the player is available fro pick upgreenielax wrote: ↑Mon Oct 18, 2021 2:06 pm If a coach posts a roster, can we rely on that? In other words, can we assume any player not included on the roster posted by the coach is dropped, even in the absence of an expressly specified drop?
Re: 2022 Fantasy Lacrosse Draft
I'm skeptical on Trader as well, at least as a big time college scorer.
I think Eric Spanos in the 2nd round is a steal. He's a violent scorer. I seriously considered him at #12.
Re: 2022 Fantasy Lacrosse Draft
I recall similar discussions on Myles Jones and he worked out okay... Although the Maryland board seems to be questioning whether he plays at all.
Re: 2022 Fantasy Lacrosse Draft
Jones played fall ball. Trader might end up being great for the lax team. He may also be a great SSDM. He was way too risky for me to consider at #12.PALax11 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 19, 2021 10:05 amI recall similar discussions on Myles Jones and he worked out okay...
Re: 2022 Fantasy Lacrosse Draft
I 100% agree there were less risky choices. He could be an excellent d-middie for 4 years or end up not playing at all. I figure if he plays, he wants the offensive glory of breaking down a defense and putting up points. I can just picture him running through lazy arms checks after blowing by defenders.ohmilax34 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 19, 2021 10:09 amJones played fall ball. Trader might end up being great for the lax team. Re: 2022 Fantasy Lacrosse Draft
His upside is definitely very high. The wild card is clearly football. It is very hard to do both really well in college at the same time. Did Jared Bernhardt or Dox Aitken ever do both at the same time?PALax11 wrote: ↑Tue Oct 19, 2021 10:26 amI 100% agree there were less risky choices. Re: 2022 Fantasy Lacrosse Draft
Nope. Is there a precedent of a college two sport athlete that was also a good scorer on the lacrosse team within the last 20 years?DU-fan wrote: ↑Tue Oct 19, 2021 10:56 amHis upside is definitely very high. Re: 2022 Fantasy Lacrosse Draft
Can we all just agree that PA made a poor choice and essentially has tanked his season?
