Sophomore attackman Mikie Harmeyer was the ultimate energy guy in practice. The starting core is solidified, but he was diving for groundballs, fighting with bigger defensemen for loose balls and always going 100%.

Just jumping in. First time "coach". Hilarious. Can we trade after draft? There are some serious preconceptions to take advantage of here. Great "trash" talk though. I love it.

I came from Annapolis to L.A. in the 70's. Ended up playing mens's club teams and dominating as a teenager. Both kids played college. Coached high school and junior college out here. (California). I concede a different world in the East. However there are a lot more "shut down" poles in our list of teams and different offenses.

How does this score? Can I dance on the grave of my opponents every week or wait to the end to triumph?

Its Monday morning so:

UK Lax Season

Drops
Dylan Foulds GRADUATED A PSU 15
Jake Carraway A GRADUATED Georgetown 37
Kieren Mullins A GRADUATED Rutgers 35
Michael Foster GRADUATED M Navy 2
Logan Santos SO M OSU 0 (not on OSU roster, think he gone from lacrosse)

Sad at losing carraway and mullins, absolute beastly consistent point getters for 3-4 years

Keep
Matt Brandau SR A Yale
Andrew Milani R-So A Towson
Brady Strough M SO Fairfield
Declan McDermott SR M Georgetown
Anthony DeMaio 5th M UMD
Patrick Hackler M Yale R-Fr
Garrett Degnon M SR JHU
Dylan Beckwith A GRADUATED Fairfield (holding onto beckwith till i know his status, probs drop by end of the draft as i think he's graduated fully)

1st Round pick: Ronan Jacoby A Sr Rutgers (transfer from wesleyan, 2x DIII All american with likely 2 year eligibility, bit of a risk but i can't see him not getting the field after all the rutgers grads)

2nd round pick: Still debating about 10 players in the freshman class.... Will post this in a little while

After a lot of debating and sadness in realising i can only pick one out of a ton of good players in the freshman class who i will now watch go elsewhere.

The 2 players i want most are middies but I've gotta be pragmatic and i need attackmen so i select:
Eric Spanos A Fr Maryland

Likely won't see the field first year cause Maryland are stacked again with transfers and stayers but the kid has size and bundles of talent and i can see him putting up big numbers in a couple years.

If a coach posts a roster, can we rely on that? In other words, can we assume any player not included on the roster posted by the coach is dropped, even in the absence of an expressly specified drop?

The coach needs to explicitly drop the player. With this said, if the coach doesn't explicitly designate a dropped player(s) and instead posted his 2022 roster with players missing which serves to designate which player's are being dropped, then I think you're good to grab the dropped players.

Another clarification is... You don't need to drop a player when you pick a D. Your "player" has already been dropped. So, Maddog didn't need to drop a player when he picked up the SU D (though he did) and will not need to drop a player for his first "field player" pick.
