It's always fun to see the recruiting rankings every August/September and IL deserves credit for this service. One observation from the top 50 list though is it seems like they only watched a few teams or tournaments. 8 of the top 50 are from Georgetown Prep or 91 LI. I know they're all excellent players, but I can guarantee that 4-5 years from now, the top 50 players in this college class will not comprise 4 players from Prep. No knock on them, it's just that the talent from Georgia, Florida, Texas and the west coast has grown to a level that the rankings should be a lot more dispersed.

You're prediction is likely to happen. But you cant project WHO. It's simply a crap shoot.
The natural talent and athleticism is off the charts there. The big problem remains, the coaching and competition remains relatively sparse in those areas you mentioned. But yes, once many of those kids get into college programs with coaches that can accelerate their development they will likely take over. Still tough to predict who those kids will be.

Terps or Cavs,
that’s the recent trend in SE PA top 10-20 recruits.
He's apparently a quite good football RB. Imagine he'd be a Patriot League target for football. That's the real question I have. I do think the Terps are in a good spot for him.

Millon's mom is a Terp grad, but a lot of MD fans who are plugged into the MIAA scene don't think there's a chance he'd go to College Park. I tend to never count out Tills, but Millon would be a tough get.
Lehmans dad also played lacrosse at Penn State and I think that entire family is heavily connected to the program in Happy Valley. As I understand it he has grown up around that campus. I don’t see him going anywhere but PSU or UMD.

Flurry of commitments tonight. In addition to Lehman to PSU, Brunswick FOGO Greenspan to Notre Dame and St. Anthony's middie Jackson Greene to Harvard.

"Sirius Lacrosse" did not predict PSU among the five schools for Lehman, nor ND among the three for Greenspan, nor Harvard among the six for Greene. For those counting, that's 0/14. That tells you all you need to know about that.

I’m pretty sure Sirius lacrosse is just a kid trying to be the next ty Xanders. No real line to any of these kids.

I mean congrats on the call, but that just means he'll end up signing with Duke or another top team if he stays good

I had thought Lehman to UVA
since recent history has them beating out the Terps
for the local talent.

Nice coup for PSU,
they lost out on O’Neill of course and that set them
back.
Let’s see if Tambroni can continue this, beating out the
Cavs and Terps for the top five type SE PA talent.

I seriously doubt it. He posted pictures today of his 1st grade drawings saying he wanted to play at penn state when he grows up and pictures of him in the penn state locker room as an 8 year old. I think he’s pretty set on PSU.

So Duke lands Millon and has an insane recruiting class with 4 of the top 10 players. 3 of the # 1 ranked player in the past 4 classes. They gotta capitalize and win a ship with this class in the next 3 years or they may lose momentum with top recruits

2 years . Still a eternity for Duke. Will continue to add 5 star transfers. Danowski can never improve the odds enough. Be rooting for UVA, UNC and Cuse in ACC.

What about Notre Dame?
Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah

he said win a champ in the next 3 years (so 2022, 23 and 24). this class will be freshmen in spring 2024, that's quite a lift.
