Water Cooler was the old experimental group on LP of threads devoted to politics and other stuff on which people can reasonably and unreasonably disagree. Its equivalent now is the Politics fora on this site. He and others are just suggesting that, if someone wants to talk about this difficult, nuanced subject, they should take it there.
