You just can't help yourself, can you?

You and the Republicans are just a special piece of work here in 2019. You're acting like Cohen is the work of the Dems.

You are watching the personal attorney---who called himself Trump's Cleaner----- of a sitting President doing the talking here. This is Trump's guy, for heaven's sake.

And instead of being embarrassed at what a low life, unethical creep Trump is for paying this man to do all the disgusting things he did, you double down and blame the Dems.

Trump hired this man, 6ft!!!! Not the Dems. Not Pelosi. There's no one you can blame for this other than Trump himself.

And you won't do that because the MOST important thing to you is party affiliation. Nothing else matters to you. Not country. Not morals. Not values.

No, I think you pretty much get it. There is nothing more to get than what you have written.

Just as a note on the "roaring economy" that "the dems want to stop and reverse", here is the unemployment rate for the past 10 years. Note the huge effect of Trump taking over from Obama:

"Did Trump entirely reinvent the war against ISIS? No, he didn’t, and his liberal detractors have spent the year correctly pointing out that the coalition war plans implemented this year were conceived by Obama’s Pentagon."

Or this one: "It is unfair to U.S. and coalition troops to claim, as Trump does, that they didn’t “fight to win” until he arrived in the Oval Office. "

Or how about this one: "It’s true that the taking of Raqqa and the collapse of the caliphate as a functional state won’t end the war. ISIS fighters will probably reassemble to fight a guerilla war."

In other words, as I tried to tell you in vain, ISIS isn't defeated, and the war isn't over.

But I'm more than willing to make fun of you each time ISIS hits its enemies, all so you can pretend that Trump can fly over buildings and end terrorism by simply "loosening the rules of engagement to allow commanders in the field more authority in day-to-day decisions about fighting the enemy."

That's great, and I'm glad it led to better outcomes on the battlefield in the short term, and unlike you, I have zero problem praising Trump for doing something that led to a positive outcome.
You requote all the disclaimers that the author made -- to prove his point.

You either do not understand what ROE are, or decline to acknowledge the difference they can make.

Just like the difference between tactical decisions being made by commanders in field or in theatre, rather than by Obama's civilian propeller heads in the WH sit room.

But by all means, continue to equate each isolated ISIS remnant act with what they were doing when they controlled a caliphate with vast territory & a large population. Compare a functioning nation state (run by terrorists), to isolated remnant terrorist acts, as if there was no difference.

I'm quoting the "disclaimers", as you call them, because the author isn't gushing over Trump the way you are implying he is.

Right. First of all, those propeller heads frequently have long term concerns that you military guys can't afford to have, and second of.....I just got done praising Trump for making the change. Want me to clap like a seal, too? I agree it's a good thing, and give Trump his due for making the change.

:?: Where did I do that? I was reacting to 6ft's absurd insistence that ISIS was defeated. Nope. Not even close.

But since we're discussing it, which would you rather fight: ISIS stupidly trying to hold ground in the open with a literal flag that tells US Troops and drones "hey: we're right here"? Or ISIS living hidden amongst populations all over the world?

I know which I prefer. Drawing ISIS out in the open may have been one of the smartest "dumb" things we've done in this region since 1980. You and 6ft are on here, bragging about how Trump wiped them out in a matter of months. Could that have possibly happened before they had territory to hold?

Nope.

Who said anything about Cohen. He's a creepy lawyer. Hired by businessmen to do their dirty work in BUSINESS. None of what we heard today had anything to do with Collusion or obstructing justice or Trump as President.

After two years of 90% negative coverage of the President. And dozens of prosecutors digging dirt for Mueller for over two years. The FBI the CIA the justice department investigations since 2016—Cohens the best you got. LOL!

And for the media to try and split screen negotiations in Hanoi with this travesty in Washington is criminal and unforgivable. And slimier than Cohen ever thought of being.

Keep throwing this crap in our faces along with your new fascination with infanticide and dems are done in 2020. New polls show more Americans are switching from pro choice to pro-life just since NY states new abortion guarantee and the Virginia governor letting the abortion after birth cat out of the bag.

Yeh the Nazis were easier to fight once they took Poland France and Belgium. If the Japanese hadn't taken all the islands in the south pacific and the Philippines we probably would never have had to fight them

So back to your delusion. So none of this Cohen stuff had any thing to do with Agent Orange, hey?

Oh, I agree completely. Bush should never have removed Saddam. Iran and Iraq would still be trying to kill each other, and there'd be no ISIS.

I'm just surprised you'd criticize a Republican President like that, 6ft. You're going to get left of the RNC's Christmas card list if this gets back to HQ!

Really? Did you actually watch the testimony?

It was very much about the pattern of deceit and cover-up of Trump in all aspects of his life, including into the Presidency.
Both as he was campaigning for the Presidency and then the cover-up of what he'd done, as President, including obstruction of justice and witness intimidation...while President.

Yes, some of his deceit and potentially alleged crimes like tax evasion, bank fraud, etc were as a 'businessman'. True, but then the same pattern continued into the campaign, and then into the Oval Office.

Any corroborating proof? A check made out to his lawyer? You KNOW what it was for or do you only have the liar Cohens assertions.

So what you have today after the big splash—NO COLLUSION. NO obstruction of justice. You got maybe sone alleged bad behavior. After two years.

Bill Clinton was Impeached for much less. Notice none of those Republicans had the guts to probe the facts, just to call Cohen a liar. They didn’t dare open any doors. They know better.

There were no doors to open. If there were the democrats would have broken them down to satisfy all you Trump derangement sufferers.
