Ok. Was that with a more transmissible variant? I hope they mask up at the very least. State should hand out good masks amd hope we get lucky.
no, it was pre-vaccine and pre-delta. move to utah?
Get vaccinated. Maintain distance from people as much as possible, wear a mask if you must interact with strangers or people whose vaccine status you don’t know. Anything that may contribute to kids going back to school is what I am aiming for.

This is what I know:

Vaccines help
Staying away from people helps
Washing your hands may help
Wearing a mask may help.

I am doing anything that helps or may help. I am not going to wait for someone to tell me it doesn’t help because what if it does? I want stuff reasonably open and kids in school. That’s not asking much.

... it looks like those states which are determined to fail, aren't planning on doing what they did last year. The best practices learned last year won't be applied in a lot of places. Teachers have taken note.

that was always going to be the case. this year, my state will have actual school (to start), so imo some places will be returning to best practices.

I agree, some will return with BP, maybe even most, but some clearly will not.

That’s what I have seen. People should do whatever is asked of them if it means kids can go to school. It’s worth a small sacrifice. People expect teachers to risk their lives to watch their kids while they work and don’t want to do the bare minimum to possibly make it safer.

According to some delusionals on the radical far right this is all imaginary. They would have died of something else, possibly a bad cold, the heart break of psoriasis, or a severe case of athlete's foot. I was on a YouTube chat yesterday or day before and some wingnut said that all these reported deaths are imaginary - pure government propaganda designed to promote the New World Order. Tell them that these deaths are real, post links to articles reporting such casualties, and those bassturds start cursing you out. This is the normal course for these drugged up tRumpisstas psychos because they are so blinded by their hatred for the USA.
