Too bad you didn’t do Principals Office or Just a Friend.

Now I have Joy and Pain in my head and it’s like a Chinese water
Drop torture..
Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah

Supposedly his drug problem started when he hurt his hip attempting a flip in some high heels. I had been a fan since his first album. Some of his best work was on his first three albums. Masterpieces.

Back in the Saddle off Aerosmith's Rocks album from 1976. Tyler could sure belt out a tune. A sublime screech. "Rocks" was code for something else--certainly not diamonds. Same kind of tongue in cheek John Lennon used to explain that Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds was inspired by a picture his son Julian drew and brought home from school one day.

Battleship Potemkin finale - 1925 by Sergei Eisenstein.

One of most incredibly intense scenes in movie history - the music by Edmund Meisel is staggering. Eisenstein created directorial techniques hitherto unknown. Just amazing creativity. Died at age 50. Movie historians acknowledge that his best work was yet to come when we lost him.

local radio station just played a song which is kinda apropos for today's weather conditions:

Because of all the Western fires, the air remains terrible misty or smoky or whatever way you want to describe it.
