I want to know why they are taking playing time away, keeping the clock at 60 min but making it a running clock screws the women out of playing time. In the course of a game how long does it take officials to do a stick check and then set up a draw. I’ve seen games where officials walk to the center draw, talk to each other and then decide to set things up. I don’t have a problem with quarters or the possession clock reset but they need to get rid of this stupid idea of a running clock.

Dear Rules Committee,
Am kooking for a little help here, hopefully you can help me out.
W*T*F are you thinking with keeping the clock running after a goal?
Megan Carney, off ball, dashes to the cage, takes a pass in stride,
fakes to the upper right and goes BTB delivering the ball to the
wide open four hole. Goal is scored, authoritative stick drop is
done, hugs and huddle, off to the draw circle. The play ends at
the goal is scored part, no lacrosse is being played, there's nothing
to time, no reason for the clock to run. Hence, W*T*F are you thinking?
TIA for your response,
D. Mac

I leave room for the possibility that I am misreading or misinterpreting the last two posts, in addition to the new rule changes – but does it say explicitly that we are to have a running clock now except in the case of a 10 goal lead? I don’t see where the new rules state that the clock continues to run after goals and before the next draw.
