Hahaha. A private jet for a D3 coaching job where the candidate lives about an hour away. I think you may have found some pretentious CT dads flight to watch his son play at NLF.

Re: 2021 Coaching Carousel
Definitely a stretch and wouldn't put it past some of the parents to fly from ct up to amherst. Also the amount of trash from the parents and players over the past few days is disheartening. Umass fields looking like a landfill.InsiderRoll wrote: ↑Sun Jul 18, 2021 12:39 pmHahaha. A private jet for a D3 coaching job where the candidate lives about an hour away. For what it’s worth, I saw Pilat at UMASS wearing Wesleyan gear and scouting on Saturday.

He would be until he's officially hired/in process.Flag Down wrote: ↑Sun Jul 18, 2021 5:07 pmFor what it’s worth, I saw Pilat at UMASS wearing Wesleyan gear and scouting on Saturday.
I still don't understand the logic behind hiring Pilat, but I guess I'm in the minority.

You can bet your home that the interim tag on Coach Otto at Transylvania will be lifted before January and he will earn the title of HC in Lexington!

I know very little about this program, however, considering Otto was Associate Head Coach and Justice retired mid summer it would seem this has been in the works internally for a while. If that is the case why not just elevate him now and start moving forward? Assume they have to go through the motions?

I would agree with that, I think he is a promising young coach that will eventually land a job like that. But much like Billy Mason was several years ago, he’s a job away. But I’m not doing the hiring.KingPrat wrote: ↑Mon Jul 19, 2021 10:22 amHe would be until he's officially hired/in process.Flag Down wrote: ↑Sun Jul 18, 2021 5:07 pmFor what it’s worth, I saw Pilat at UMASS wearing Wesleyan gear and scouting on Saturday.

Haven't seen who William Peace hired. Only can find their women's team hire. Who did they select?SouthernLaxGenius wrote: ↑Mon Jul 19, 2021 3:26 pm Settled back in from vacation, what did I miss

Re: 2021 Coaching Carousel
Coach Price has had a number of opportunities to go elsewhere and coach during his time at MO. Glad he finally took the leap and lands in a spot (support TBD) where he can be successful quickly and wont be a start from scratch/rebuild.FiddleStick wrote: ↑Mon Jul 19, 2021 4:42 pmHaven't seen who William Peace hired. Read his quote in his press release at Spalding. No knock to the young man and good luck to him but is all I can say
