Andrew Hahm, defense St. Sebastian's/Laxachusetts commits to Amherst.
I've seen him play a fair bit. Was the number 1 close cover defender for a really strong defense that had a senior heading to Denver and a classmate who committed to Penn last fall. Physical player. Very strong student. Nice start for the Mammoths.

Interesting that Amherst is taking players right now.
Re: NESCAC 2020
I expect the current interim coach and AD to try to sign the best talent possible, now that they are looking for a new HC. How are the other NESCACs doing today?
Re: NESCAC 2020
Seems like a slow day for a lot of places. Heard of a couple for Williams and that’s pretty much it.
Re: NESCAC 2020
Heard the same on Williams and I am also surprised that Amherst was able to execute a call plan, at least to make one offer and get a commitment. Good for them.bighoss74 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 01, 2021 6:13 pmSeems like a slow day for a lot of places. Heard of a couple for Williams and that’s pretty much it.

Re: NESCAC 2020
Is “stiff stick” supposed to be a knock for a D-man? What does that even mean (outside of the endless puerile possible jokes)?

Re: NESCAC 2020
Agree. Relies too much on the forearm hold down low on the island, letting the attackmen get inside on him.
But he's a good D3 prospect with some size. Probably done growing. He should start to see time as a sophomore and be starting by JR year. If Amherst has a program by then.
Re: NESCAC 2020
JF was their best overall defender, but in the eight or so Seb's games that I caught this year Hahm covered the other teams primary ball-carrying/dodging attackman.Sidelinehorn! wrote: ↑Fri Jul 02, 2021 7:41 amFreehill was the #1Laxxal22 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 01, 2021 4:33 pm Andrew Hahm, defense St. Sebastian's/Laxachusetts commits to Amherst.

Does anyone have any jumboslaxtv edits/mini docs downloaded that they would graciously share with me? I've got a few but looking for some specific ones. Sounds like Youtube is not coming back online...ever

AC is obviously hoping to take a few steps back from the lacrosse world with the combination of two positions...bet they are hoping to get a candidate that is mediocre compared to JT

Not necessarily, a number of high level D3 coaches also teach PE classes at their respective schoolsgeorgeoar394 wrote: ↑Fri Jul 09, 2021 7:27 pm https://amherst.wd5.myworkdayjobs.com/A ... tor_JR1330
