...so petty. Who's trolling now ?
I refuse to jump through your hoops. You don't dictate the terms of the discussion.
I'm trying to discuss what our most senior military officer is telling us about "white rage",
& what his Chiefs are telling their officers & troops they should be reading,
...not some cable news host, who you are citing as a diversion.
nope, you just can't bring yourself to separate yourself from the racist a-holes like Carlson, who are leading the right wing charge against the COS, even when its an obvious lay up...
I'm happy to discuss how Milley ripped Gaetz and the rest of these imbeciles, how and why he did so, and why he considers studying why Jan 6 to be crucial, why he thinks leaders in the military should understand history fully including parts that are uncomfortable, and why he thinks that's important to actual leadership...but only with someone who is clear about rejecting racist POS like Carlson when he steps way, way over the line.
And you're not that guy, unfortunately.
"racist a-holes like Carlson," "racist POS"... if not slanderous, not sure what is.
slander: The action or crime of making a
false spoken statement damaging to a person's reputation.
Not false.
same for libel or libelous...gotta be false.
This
should be a lay-up for anyone on here except the gator troll.
Separate yourself from Carlson's attack on Milley. Easy peasy, lay-up.
Then discuss Milley and your opinions as to why he's wrong to hold his views.
i don't watch TC enough I guess to have your sense of certainty. Even if I did, I wouldn't make the kind of statements you have on a public forum. It seems weirdly personal.
Is he actually overtly racist?... or does he say just enough to trigger those who look for racism every waking moment, such as yourself, in order to capture some moral high ground and self-righteous stance?
MD’s obsession with Tucker Carlson is obviously bizarre, but I suspect it has more to do with jealousy than anything else. Tucker is actually a good guy (he has a house near me in Florida), who has donated more to charity than this entire board combined. I can’t say I know him great, but I have certainly run into him several times at a local coffee shop. He is gracious and ready with a smile.
Tucker is the single number one cable host in the entire universe....that doesn’t happen because you’re lazy or dumb. My guess is the job is significantly harder than what folks like MD like to think it is. So not only is Tucker successful, but he’s a hard worker too. He’s also by far the best spokesman for basic American civil liberties; that irritates both Democrats and neocons to no end. He’s pro American, again something that irritates most Democrats and all neocons who elevate the United Nations over America. Tucker has a great marriage, so there is no room to attack him on personal foibles.
The reason Tucker gets the attention and obsession by libs is all of the above and more, but honestly what it really comes down to is self hatred by those who ‘hate’ him. There is no single media person I obsess over. I think Joy Reid, Brian Stelter, and the like are clowns, but I laugh at them; most people laugh at them!!
If Tucker is so awful, and if you were a nuanced human being, you’d simply laugh at him. If you don’t, it’s more likely the problem is you, not Tucker.
