Any word on where Khan and Lully are likely to land. Both have been in portal for awhile, have to assume that many are interested yet no reports of any visits etc.which was case with some others in years past.

Cornell still has good young talent but Teat going pro and Donville departing will hurt. Is Telesco returning or not?

I have no inside info but I do know Lulley has a family connection at Notre Dame. I assume UNC and Duke will also be in the mix. You know Rutgers will be going after him, and they did just land his Penn teammate in Bartolo, so who knows. But my guess would be ACC.

A lot of these decisions may have been made already and are either pending official admission or just haven't been picked up yet by the media.

Thank you Hopfan

Rather it not being ND, Duke, Denver, Maryland or even Rutgers as they all added a number of transfers last year. Let it be another.

Especially ND who has already added four likely starters.

Others will disagree but t me its somewhat unpure to stock a team with transfers.

If this is will be Telesco’s 6th year on campus, probably not. I know Cornell created a 5th year curriculum for athletes but not sure about a 6th year. Better chance if he withdrew and if Cornell will continue with a 5th year curriculum.

couldn't agree more, but we're all just going to have to get used to this. just like the yankees and the red sox sign every big ticket free agent and the rich get richer. doesn't always work out as planned though (see, e.g. 2021 Duke).

setting aside the top end of the market, i am very curious about whether any lower profile programs will be able to capitalize by collecting cast-offs from higher profile programs. seems like that might actually add some parity to the sport.

Thank you. Telesco looked to be really coming into his own in 2020 before season got shutdown.

Kyle Berkeley was a Drexel recruit,
he and Steve Shollenberger were considered high
end for that school, different years.
Shollenberger might have gotten as far as 2nd midfield
but that was about it.
I doubt Berkeley saw more than one or two games
total. A talented player, but hasn’t really seen the
field in 3 or more years.

Shollenberger had a lot of injuries. He seemed on the verge of getting steady playing time a few different times and it never materialized because of injuries

Berkeley was a Quinnipiac, then a Drexel, then a Towson, then a UMD recruit....followed Bubba in from Calverton. Has been injury prone each year. He may even have a couple years of eligibility, based on injury, CV-19 year.
A fraudulent intent, however carefully concealed at the outset, will generally, in the end, betray itself.

I feel like there was a bunch of whining about ACC schools grabbing kids all spring but somehow I’m seeing 4 kids going to Rutgers, couple to MD and OSU. Probably just that ACC media bias kicking in.

Winning might make grabbing guys from the transfer portal easier, but grabbing so many guys from the portal may hurt recruiting. It can quickly become a vicious cycle of needing to use the portal to replenish every year because you're not developing internal talent. A very delicate balance and Brecht has clearly made a strategic decision here. I'm sure he feels like the time to pounce is now coming off a good season but very curious to see how it plays out in the medium to long term. Live by the sword...
