I assumed the Nassau County playoffs started today.Nothing on the BOCES Section 8 schedule nor the Newsday Lacrosse website.Surprised yet chuffed the LICs are back.

First round of playoffs are today, it usually takes time for scores to come in.

LIC Championships are on Saturday 6/19/21 at East Islip High School. I know Class C is the last game, at 5:30PM.

Not enough time for a State Tourney because of Cuomo's MIND-NUMBINGLY stupid decision to shove 3 FULL sports seasons into less than a 6 month period of time. State Tournament returns in 2022.

Any results from yesterday's playoff games? I write this at 9:10 A.M.,6/11.Nothing in Newsday's print nor Newsday.com.No doubt, the staff is overwhelmed by the number of sports holding playoffs/championships in such a short time.

NYSPHSAA decided in January not to have a tournament. Robbing these athletes of another chance at a state title. No single group of athletes in NY lost more than true Spring teams. Letting football last as long as it did ate into the start of the lax season in many sections as well (that was determined by each section not state wide). The landscape now is vastly different in terms of cases and safety. But it was easier to just not have to deal than work hard to make it happen. Typical New York governance.

Manhasset 23 Locust Valley 5 in Nassau Class C Quarterfinals. Only game played last night in Class C.

The rest of the games are today, that's why there are no scores. Check the website below later on tonight, its the best source for updated scores.

You seem to be saying it was not Cuomo’s call.

I think it most certainly was, for the SOLE fact of avoiding criticism. 98% of his decision are made with only this in mind.
