No Charlie Kitchen and no one from Drexel???

These voters have probably not seen a CAA game all year. No surprise, since everything is just on LSN and nothing is on cable.

Charlie Kitchen, of course is an All American talent.

Sean Quinn shut down Pat Kavanaugh fairly well,
so that’s another guy to consider, he did well on the
shut down defense side of things.

Pat Kavanaugh. But yes, Sean Quinn is a really talented defenseman.

I thought Donnelly and/or Bowering merited it, the latter played enough of the season and was a force down the stretch.

I am going to get a 4.0 in damage.

Only UVA Duke and Drexel held Kavanaugh to
two points.

And it wasn’t just Quinn.
Sean Quinn did the fine one v one cover, and Brennan
Greenwald provided the well timed hackings.

That’s the Tucker Durkin way.

Drexel D really took a step up this year, it was fun to watch. Sean Quinn, Greenwald, and Udovich are going to be a force next year, especially with another year under Durkin.

Pretty crazy to think anyone in the country would think Koby Smith was more impactful than Sean Quinn when it comes to his impact on how his team peformed. Supposed to be a yearly award not a career award.

Luke Blanc is a pretty physical middie/attackman. I saw him play one game in HS and thought he would fit in great at UMass. He was their only 4 star recruit last year and never got on the field his Freshman year. Maybe injured? He is not the fastest guy in the game but he is really crafty. Missed his senior year due to COVID but had 55 goals his junior year and 106 in just three years. Maybe a fit for Rutgers? Played HS at Seton Hall Prep.

That works for me, they need some players.

I’d rather he stayed at UMass, but with all the
movement these days ...

They’re starting right in, no wind down time,
transfers, commit flips,
here are the early transfers in the CAA,

Ohio State - Gerard Kane (attack) —> Hofstra

Sacred Heart: Logan Liljeberg (A) —> UMass
grad transfer

Towson - Casey Wasserman (midfield) —> Utah

UMass - Luke Blanc (attack) —> Marquette

Hofstra is adding GR transfer Bryan McIntosh, a 6-2 defenseman from Mount St. Mary, one of Coach McIntee's former players. NEC second-team player, led his team in caused turnovers with 31 and was second in GBs with 48. Looks like he can step in for Logan Danenza.

CAA transfers ———>

Delaware - Peter St. Geme (M)

Drexel - Aidan Coll (attack)**, Brennan Greenwald (LSM)*

Mount St. Mary's - Bryan McIntosh (D)** -> Hofstra

Ohio State - Gerard Kane (A) -> Hofstra

Sacred Heart: Logan Liljeberg (A)** -> UMass

Towson - Casey Wasserman (M) -> Utah

UMass - Luke Blanc (A) -> Marquette
This would be Aiden Coll’s 6th year,
so he’s taking advantage of the current transfer
situation to get some advanced schooling,
developed this year into a high skill old school styled
crease attackman.

I was impressed with Coll's one-on-one ability as well. He didn't take defenders to X often, but when he did, he showed an ability to get off pretty accurate shots of dodges. He really did come out of nowhere this year. Good size and a plus shooter for sure.

I’ve been pimping St. Geme to the Hopkins crowd as
a great addition on the defensive side 🏆

That is of course, assuming he doesn’t change his mind
in staying with the Hens 👍

Looking at the CAA commits,
with the Syracuse Gait Petro hire,

I’m wondering what kind of fallout there will be to
CAA teams, CAA commits.

I saw one high rate CAA defenseman recruit
who might be at risk,
but overall, I don’t see many in the way of flips.

Not a flip, just someone who could be on the
Gait Petro radar,

the defenseman 2021 recruit from Comsewogue
is the only one
I saw from CAA teams.

Kyle Berkeley, a good pickup, to Tigers for as many
as two years,

originally committed to Tigers, then Drexel prior to
Maryland commit.

Would like to see this guy get some good playing time.

New Athletic Director in at Drexel.

I always expect the worst in these kind of situations,
the hire was PC motivated to the nth degree,
they wanted to check off some boxes.

We’ll see, but you can pretty much bet they’ll be
gunning for the lacrosse team.

Not that they’ve done great or anything,
but overall it has been a winning team under Voelker.
