Re: Coaching Carousel
First thought is his longtime associate head coach Kim Hillier. If not her perhaps his former top lieutenant, Caitlin Defliese.

or does delfiese stay on with him? She knows the team. And something tells me they won’t be totally on board with himhofstrapride1 wrote: ↑Mon Jun 07, 2021 5:09 pmFirst thought is his longtime associate head coach Kim Hillier. If not her perhaps his former top lieutenant, Caitlin Defliese.
Re: Coaching Carousel
Defliese named interim head coach. Interesting to see who takes up the job officially.

What about Kathy Taylor moving back to the Syracuse area from Colgate?
I don't see Kathy Taylor making that move. She just got to Colgate.

6-28 over the past three years. I imagine they decided to move on. Had a good amount of success with Scott Teeter in his final 5-6 years with that program.

Think the Canadian connection dried up a bit after Teeter left for Kentucky?LaxPundit07 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 11:05 am 6-28 over the past three years. I imagine they decided to move on. Had a good amount of success with Scott Teeter in his final 5-6 years with that program.

Tough to say. It was a pretty quick drop off after he left. That would seem to indicate some sort of purge of the roster more than a recruiting issue. Did he take any of their roster to Louisville with him? Or did he take some of his commits with him?
Re: Coaching Carousel
both. my guess is you will see her resurface working with a familiar face. just a guess.LaxPundit07 wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 12:08 pm Tough to say. It was a pretty quick drop off after he left. That's a good point, EasyRider. I hadn't realized he was only an assistant at Pitt under Emily Boissonneault. Thanks for the clarification.
(Great movie, by the way. I've seen it dozens of times.)

Does Gary have a say in the hire? Then I would say Thorpe is a no.Cletus wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 3:53 pmThat's a good point, EasyRider. I hadn't realized he was only an assistant at Pitt under Emily Boissonneault. Thanks for the clarification.

I'd bet the next HC at Cuse is female.
Oh, and I think "interim coach" is insulting.
Am I in or not, your coach or a pawn?
