Cletus wrote: Tue Jun 01, 2021 3:57 amThat's the Olympics, though. The Buffalo Bills didn't win anything those four years except for the infamous distinction of being a four time Super Bowl loser. Have you ever watched The Four Falls of Buffalo? It's an ESPN 30 for 30 feature. If you still have your espn+ subscription, you can watch it. I'm sure that will shed more light than I am able to concoct analogies for.
Seen it. Maybe I'll watch it again. And I don't agree with the Buffalo Bills perspective. They weren't nothing. They were AFC Champions. Repeatedly. They were great.
Great—but not elite.

Looky here, folks! DMac’s burner account. Well well. Just a quick look at some of your previous posts DMac… sorry... hickorystick  and you sure like to criticize a lot of people in the few posts I looked up under your account there, hickorystick. Does that make you a fool? Or does that only apply to the people who disagree with you?

And then once they become elite, they aren't a premier program or perennial or whatever. It never ends. BC wins a National Championship... but only once. It's endless, it's silly...

Yeah, I am inclined to say "Adios, see you (earliest) when fall ball starts, or in February 2022."

Yep—those are opinions. They don’t always make sense to everybody, but they are nevertheless still opinions.

My opinion is that SU needs a really good (replacement) goalie if they want to make a run next season...

Just another knowledgeable and respectful poster driven away by the insolent critic. One of many.

All opinions stink? So if I visit my mother and tell her I think the new table cloth she put on the dining room table really compliments the new paint job, that opinion stinks?

Bart, Hickory, all, take it down a notch. Discuss issues, not post-ers. If you don't like reading people's opinions about lacrosse teams, players, and coaches, in this case SU's, you've come to the wrong forum.

To someone who doesn’t like the table cloth or paint job it might.

The issue IS opinions. I don’t see any place in my post where I mentioned any poster.

You're attacking people for expressing opinions. That's what we do here, express opinions...

BC got themselves a stellar goaltender from the great northwest a couple years ago. How hard can it be?

Attacking? Really? C’mon. Here’s a secret, my opinions stink to someone. So do yours. So do probably 99% of opinions stink to someone for some reason.

If your asking me? I don’t know. I don’t have enough information to form an educated opinion. I am not at practice, I don’t know how the underclass goalies have played in practice. The only thing I do know is that they will have a goalie in cage.

Are you sure there’s no one on the current roster who can step up? Gait seems to carry a ton of players on his roster compared to other teams.
