Not the rule though. I had a long post on this in response to some poster’s argument for changing the rule. I like the rule as is. It should just be enforced though.

I have actually seen it enforced a lot more this year in high school. Hardly ever used to be.

8 cards is ridiculous. They should use the high school rule where after the fourth one the team has to play a man down for the rest of the game. Eight cards. Play four men down.

Maybe if calls were more consistent all season, they would rein it in and it wouldn't bite them at such an important time. I wish officiating wasn't such a thankless job. We are lucky to have the ones who are willing to do it.
