They just showed a shot of the crowd and UNC hardly had any fans. Kind of sad.

Rutgers seems well represented.

Sounds like a Rutgers home game.

Chams just put Will Bowen in the blender. 1-0

Cotter and Carc are doing a good job with both games so far.

RU's defense is holding up really well so far. They're also making UNC play a lot of defense.

Raise your hand if you thought this would a 6v6 settled game?!!!

I was not expecting a 1-1 game with 3 mins left in the 1Q

If it stays that way, doesn't bode well for Rutgers. They need an up-and-down wide open game to win. UNC's offense is going to break through eventually. Didn't shoot well in the 1st quarter but had some chances.

Sure doesn't seem that Brecht has game planned it that way. RU's had a lot of chances to go in early offense, and they're not taking them. Looks like they're trying to wear down UNC's defense.

I'm actually more surprised that UNC's offense, especially its midfield, has been winning more match ups early on. Still early but that surprised me in Q1.

Not sure why Brecht would suddenly move away from the strength of the team. They're not great on offense in settled 6v6 situations. UNC will be happy to make this an orderly offense vs. defense game.

There are those 12 yard step downs that RU's defense will give up. They usually knock down skip passes, but that one got through. Giving up those shots is a feature of RU's defense.

They need a goal here or this one could start to slip away.

Did anyone ever refer to having a ball in “your crosse” when you played? I know that it technically accurate but it just sound like such an affection to me.

Kirst is the best goalie in game. What could have been a 4-1 game is now 3-2 . Why does Brecht called time out when UNC has a om's on d ?

Krieg has to have a big fan base there. Great goalie match up.

because he didn't like what he was seeing on o. maybe including his o not recognizing a "great matchup".
regroup and set up some possibles on the restart, fresh wind.
