I like two of those predictions. :D

Seriously, every team has a shot. They've all won big games this year. Just a matter of stringing two in a row.

Should be fun.

The defense and attack 1st teams are all world,

they could play with any conference.

Offensive player of the year is Charlie Kitchen.

Kitchen convinced me with 9 points against Hofstra,
4 goals in the 4th quarter.

Possible St Joes could slide into a QW for Del here if they run table and finish 10-3. Not top 5 but a bracketed win.
Now I love those cowboys, I love their gold
Love my uncle, God rest his soul
Taught me good, Lord, taught me all I know
Taught me so well, that I grabbed that gold
I left his dead ass there by the side of the road, yeah

They don’t list SSDM seperately on the CAA list.
Normally, with guys like Zach Goodrich and Jack Adams,
they’d be listed as middies.

Two SSDMs I’d cite, Dominic Pryor is a rock for Hofstra,
can do the one man clear effortlessly,
George Grippo is the SSDM master of Short Stick yard sale and fast break.

Drexel got four recruits switched from Air Force, Luke Tomak is the best of the lot, terrific fundamentals.
I like Colby Barz, good on the turnover, Chop Gallagher looked athletic, in the little action he saw.
Hoping to see Luke Blanc get more PT for UMass.
As far as freshmen go.

Trainor had a 50 point season his sophomore year and has always been in the 30 point range. He has never played as a full-time two-way guy over the last 4+ years. Watching him play this year, he has become more of a SSDM. He has looked exhausted on offense and often subs out on that side of the field. Which is the reason he has only taken 29 shots all season. Not sure why they shifted his responsibilities. He is a terrific offensive middie and there is no shortage of great defensive players on UMass.

He does. He's 3rd on UMass in GBs and 3rd in CTs. And he plays a ton of defense, very well. He's a terrific all around player

I don't like to jump in on sensitive issues, but Kitchen had a great year and led his team to a conference title.

Kitchen led the conference by averaging 5.12 points per game (3 goals per game). Tierney had 3.88 pts per game (5th highest in the conference) and 2.25 goals a game (also 5th in the conference).

Kitchen's squad was 7-1 in conference, Tierney's was 4-4. Kitchen was the offensive player of the year in the CAA.

But I am sure the Hens have bigger fish to fry right now. Hopefully, UD can pull off a win tonight and get to the finals.

The season stats are Tierney 5.08 points and 3.42 goals vs Kitchen 4.9 points and 2.5 goals.

Well said, he’s had some really good seasons. This year looks off on offense.

Those are not Tierney’s CAA conference stats. He scored a boatload of goals against 1-8 Wagner, 1-10 St John’s and 1-12 Sacred Heart back in February. This is supposed to be a conference award where Tierney was the 5th best offensive player in the CAA on a 4th place team. If Michael Sowers scored 30 goals against High Point, Robert Morris and Mercer but then was 5th place scorer in the ACC they wouldn’t name him ACC Offensive player of the year.
