I mean sure it might've been nice but all of your posts when referencing the transfer portal and even simple recruiting gloss over the actual availability of these players that will make the team better and also maybe their own personal desires and reasons for transferring. The same is true for recruiting. It takes two to tango.
"Just go out and get a better goalie at the store" - If it were that easy even the prior coaching staff probably would've done it over the last 10 years.
