Re: Johns Hopkins 2021
Has anyone noticed that Shure has a longpole today and Jaronski is back to a short stick after having the long stick a game or two ago? It would be interested to hear the defensive minded folks opine on that - I don't think I have ever seen it to that degree before.
Re: Johns Hopkins 2021
Epstein going to show up today? Coach publicly challenged you. If you want to be the guy today is the day to send the message right back

Didn’t they say they were done with all these lineup adjustments?51percentcorn wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 12:29 pm Has anyone noticed that Shure has a longpole today and Jaronski is back to a short stick after having the long stick a game or two ago? Also, did Grimes even play in that 3rd quarter? Didn’t notice him out there

Yep. Gotta credit the willingness to experiment to get guys in the best positions, and the players for buying into that. Can't be easy.51percentcorn wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 12:29 pm Has anyone noticed that Shure has a longpole today and Jaronski is back to a short stick after having the long stick a game or two ago? Re: Johns Hopkins 2021
Great quarter. Would be nice to finish this one. Positives:
-Kirson with a couple of stops and you could see the D feeding off that
- Tyler Dunn has be impressive with his limited reps.
- Communication on D was solid.

FO unit showing little interest in picking the ball up

Now - however, a quick face-off loss - defensive breakdown - easy goal - then lose another 50/50 where it looked like you might win it - lose another ground ball battle saved by an OSU timeout - this is the competitive issues I think

How is Baskin out there in crunch time instead of Grimes? Coach, you check the box score?

The crease rules have been mangled to the extent that there is zero consitency call-to-call
Re: Johns Hopkins 2021
Yep, time to make the dive illegal again.primitiveskills wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 12:45 pm The crease rules have been mangled to the extent that there is zero consitency call-to-call

I think he may have stepped on the line prior to diving/getting pushed in. But still, agreed. It’s a disaster.primitiveskills wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 12:45 pm The crease rules have been mangled to the extent that there is zero consitency call-to-call
Hoping Grimes isn’t hurt

I'd actually go the other way. All this nonsense was started to address a "goalie safety" issue that was about as real as concerns about voting integrity.Catbird wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 12:46 pmYep, time to make the dive illegal again.primitiveskills wrote: ↑Sat Apr 10, 2021 12:45 pm The crease rules have been mangled to the extent that there is zero consitency call-to-call
