Russians own anything else in this country? How about the human rights hating CHinese......they own any property in the USA?

All those hundreds of millions from Bundlers like Tom Steyer or Fred Eychaner (newsweb corp) got ALL the money from US citizens.

I am more concerned with whether a foreign intelligence office worked with a US Political Campaign team to install our President. You are free to not care.....when Steyer becomes president, I will hope that law enforcement looks into it..... .
Yeh the Clinton campaign paid for the dossier and colluded with the russians.
What did the senate and congress find out with their investigations over the past couple of the years?

I'm gonna put on my RRR & RR conspiracy hat here.

Just 4 years before Trump was elected, we heard "what's the biggest geopolitical threat facing America?" Russia was the answer from the GOP. In 4 short years, Russia became a best friend to the GOP and its donors. So what made them change their tune?

The answer to the geopolitical threat was kind of a slam dunk - we know who has killed the most American civilians and service members since the 80's, that's a no brainer. But to say Russia? What did Romney know, and when did he know it?

;) but really....

You’re missing the point of at least some of us here. Russia remains the geopolitical threat it’s always been, as evidenced by Crimea, Europe’s dependency on Russian gas, and yes, Russia’s attempts to influence the 2016 election. But Russia wasn’t the Rs’ best friend. Trump was expected to be DOA. The Russians got into it to create fear, uncertainty, and doubt in our electoral system regardless of the victor, and they succeeded brilliantly.

Hopefully I'm just missing the point of the non Trump supporters. 30%-50% of Republicans (depending on the poll) are perfectly happy with what Russia is doing, which is the alarming part. I understand the threat Russia is, but unfortunately a lot don't.

The main point I'm making is that so many people make fun of BHO for his remarks regarding Russia, but they don't hold their own party accountable after they did a 180 on Russia.

Mitt was right about Russia. That's why I don't want to get stampeded into another Cold War by sore loser (D)'s who've misplaced their Reset Buttons, forgot what they were going to tell Vlad after the election, & have suddenly become Russia hawks, ...out of political convenience.

Trump's rebuilt our military, made us the world's largest energy producer & put us in a position to deal from strength.

For afan -- here's the smart way to scold Putin. in chorus with our allies.

This point of view simplistically equates saying Russia isn't the MOST MAJOR threat we face as a country with joking about wanting the 1980's policy back. We wouldn't be where we are today without Vlad having identified, nurtured and ultimately (surprise!) succeeding in placing his mole into the Oval Office, thanks in large part to a low-information, gullible electorate uniquely susceptible to misinformation and Faux News style political lying. Had none of his Boris and Natasha plan actually worked, Russia would be just another tinpot dictatorship hovering around the periphery of eastern Europe. So sad, the lumbering Russian Bear caught up with the sleek American voter and bit down hard on a solid chrome bumper. We never met a Cold War we couldn't obliterate with the proper leadership in place.

House Intel Democrats Just Restarted and Supercharged the Trump-Russia Probe

"The investigation will examine the “scope” of the Kremlin’s influence campaigns on American politics, both in 2016 and afterwards, and “any links/and or coordination” between anyone in the Trump orbit—the campaign, transition, administration, or, critically, the president’s businesses—and “furtherance of the Russian government’s interests.” It will also look at whether “any foreign actor,” not only Russians, has any “leverage, financial or otherwise” over Trump, “his family, his business, or his associates”—and whether such actors actively “sought to compromise” any of those many, many people.

A related line of inquiry will examine whether Trump, his family, and his advisers “are or were at any time at heightened risk of” being suborned by foreign interests in any way. That includes a vulnerability to foreign “exploitation, inducement, manipulation, pressure or coercion.” All that makes it very likely that the committee examines Trump administration policy—think the Syria pullout, or ex-national security adviser and admitted felon Mike Flynn’s attempts to work with Russia’s military in Syria, or Trump’s infamous Helsinki meeting with Vladimir Putin—through that lens."

Wouldn't be where ? What new territory has Vlad seized since he placed his mole in the WH? How many tanks have we brought home from Poland?
We haven't even given back their dachas on LI & the E shore. ...a tinpot dictatorship with hypersonic missiles & (now) patrolling (again) subs chock full of ICBM's with nucs on top. We are being strategically stupid for domestic political reasons.

Buffalo bagels. How long does it take to build military equipment? The bill he signed isn't even a year old. If you believe your view that our military was hollowed out-----that problem doesn't get fixed overnight. It will take time. So make your claims AFTER it's been fixed. Because remember----Trump diddled around for a full year and a half before increasing military spending. Odd, neither you nor FoxNation complained.

It's almost as if the military was just fine, and was in no particular hurry. ;)

And now that the money is allocated----it actually takes years to build all that military crap, does it not? So no, Trump hasn't even begun to rebuild our military. Rome wasn't built in day!
Nope. That's leading from behind, my friend. And we can't have that. Your biggest complaint of Obama, remember?

You don't want to own up that you're not judging Obama and Putin with the same microscope. I get it. I'm stubborn, too.

The fact of the matter is, you're realizing the Obama handled Putin just fine, and had no choice but to levy sanctions---otherwise, Putin gets the message that any non-NATO country in the Soviet shadow is fair game for annexation.

That's okay, Trump has just been breathtakingly perfect in his dealings with Putin and the rest of our foreign policy. So all of Obama's mistakes have been fixed! ;)
