Tried to find a restaurant that would show this but no bueno. Maybe our btn/acc guys who deal w/this year round know why bars don't carry it.
Johns Hopkins 2021
Re: Johns Hopkins 2021
In a lot of cases, it’s illegal per the terms of service to show PPV/+ type subscription services like this in public places.jhu06 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 1:11 pm https://mgoblue.com/sidearmstats/mlax/media

Re: Johns Hopkins 2021
it's the extra that's gonna getcha. just a guess, but those that do satellite probably are your best bets if you call around and ask the phone answerer if they carry it (they won't know). usually only one person does.jhu06 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 1:11 pm https://mgoblue.com/sidearmstats/mlax/media

satellite tries to carry everything in package to compete with cable. in my experience.

Michigan 3-1 end 1st
Where is everyone? Price of admission too high?

Re: Johns Hopkins 2021
First career goal for Grimes! - may it be the first of many
Re: Johns Hopkins 2021
it's michigan
it's on a network the school gets no $ from
the highlights will be free after
the play by play is up
the team sucked last year and last week
fans are not used to paying extra for content
I'm curious who the starters lines were for hop
Re: Johns Hopkins 2021
We will likely have 2-4 games on BTN+ this year. It’s bad to say that you’re not fan enough to pay ~$10 per game to watch your own team.
Re: Johns Hopkins 2021
next week I'll watch it live, I have cable, but this is michigan, and the game will be posted after on youtube.jhu08 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 1:33 pmWe will likely have 2-4 games on BTN+ this year. It’s bad to say that you’re not fan enough to pay ~$10 per game to watch your own team.
Re: Johns Hopkins 2021
Hat trick for Epstein. I think it’s safe to say he’s healthy. I remember some questioning that last week.
Re: Johns Hopkins 2021
5-4 Hop. We've starting winning f/o's and controlling possession. DeSo looks like he did last week - way, way quicker than the last 3 years. Epstein starting to hit some shots (3G so far, I think), last goal on a nice apple from DeSo. Clearing is a bit of an adventure for both teams. Can't say much about the D, as they haven't played all that much of it since I've been watching. 16 does appear to be getting some runs though. And it looks like 46 is the first choice LSM, but it's really hard to see numbers with only one camera angle.
Re: Johns Hopkins 2021
Unless you know something that I don’t, the network for our game next week has yet to be confirmed. And I think there’s a non-zero chance we’re in this same BTN+ boat again.
In which case, you’re either going to have to pay for the game (and have missed this one for no reason), or not watch again.
Re: Johns Hopkins 2021
Deso to attack and Cole to midfield was the first visibly great decision by Milliman as HC.nyjay wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 1:45 pm 5-4 Hop. We've starting winning f/o's and controlling possession. Re: Johns Hopkins 2021
Agreed. Decent move from 14 from up top for goal #6.
Re: Johns Hopkins 2021
my understanding is that all regular season non home games this season are on BTN+. In the past some of the big ten road games were on the btn but this year it looks like the big ten basketball seasons have gone longer and so there's no real live time slots or trucks available on the network, but that could be wrong.jhu08 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 1:45 pmUnless you know something that I don’t, the network for our game next week has yet to be confirmed. Re: Johns Hopkins 2021
absolutely impossible to tell if that goal should have counted - based on the announcer's voice, certainly seemed like it was like, but there's no way at all to tell. kind of ridiculous.
Re: Johns Hopkins 2021
Yeah, you’re wrong. Basketball season is no different than normal.jhu06 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 1:51 pmmy understanding is that all regular season non home games this season are on BTN+. And even if you weren’t, your logic of not subscribing to BTN+ when you thought we were going to have 5 games on there absolutely baffles me.
Re: Johns Hopkins 2021
MD-Hop on BTN+?! If that's the case, shut the whole thing down now! I don't care what B1G basketball games are playing at noon on a Saturday.jhu08 wrote: ↑Sat Feb 27, 2021 1:45 pmUnless you know something that I don’t, the network for our game next week has yet to be confirmed. Re: Johns Hopkins 2021
I thought it looked late but
1) my biases could be a factor
2) camera angle too hard to definitively say
So I’ll trust the refs I guess, they had a better angle.
