Anish drives me crazy. He needs to get out of this sport.
When did he become an expert? He acts too much like a color guy. Zero resume . Call the game and let Carc, Q, whomever critique.
Y’all need to relax. He enjoys the game just like you do. Be thankful it’s on tv.
Easy ...He’s Not Here .... this is a tiny little forum where lacrosse people BS. He does a good job, but he comes off a tad arrogant at times. I’m extremely appreciative to watch any and all lacrosse. I enjoy any broadcast.
“Zero resume” and your response is that the other person needs to relax?
Zero resume is a major criticism of any person. Anish went to one of the best broadcast journalism schools in the nation and has been an announcer (lacrosse and otherwise) at ESPN for years. Possible criticisms of his work are abundant, but it’s not “zero resume.”

So since 2015. The avg margin in this game has been about 1 1/2 goals....yet every year ACC fans express surprise when Army, or Colgate for that matter, beat or play Cuse tough...

army just manhandling cuse now. defense, nicturn. everyone else. their offense also fun to watch. dodging cuse can't push them off their mark, and when they're not winning 1 v1 they're hitting cutters.
army d stout and schupler bailing them out when needed.

Zero Resume as far as his lacrosse background. No experience as a player or a coach. His job is play x play

Well Boyle is a color comm not a PBP guy so they do different things. And Boyle is one of the best color comms out there. I prefer him to Quint or anyone else out there.

strange game. SU gets spotted 5 goals and then loses by 7 goals... to Army? Strange...
to army? check out how they've competed the last several years (and then some).
and they might have had the best d for a while. being the best at any one thing (especially in a shot clock era where many have good offenses) is a good spot to be in.

i hear you. and... year after year, for a *long* time, army shows up and makes life very difficult for SU. and, every few years, they win. by a goal or in 3 OT or whatever. Army is the weaker team, do less throughout the season, but play SU really tough for whatever reason. but today was different. despite being down by 5 in the 1st Q, army beat SU handily. a strange day.

i disagree. army more than any other team imo has been hosed over the years by being in the patriot. a good conference at the top, but dragged by the bottom and then not making what little ooc as difficult as possible.
last year, they were looking very strong (again) and their hiccup with marist (never mind scheduling them in the first place) probably would've doomed them again. loyola sets an ooc to put them in the discussion every year.
and not many that saw them today would say they're the weaker team this year.
Cuse needs more out of its attack. When you put a shorty on Scanlan and pretty much not worry about it, that's a problem. Army did a really good job of limiting Cuse in transition. Was really surprised at how easily Army to the goal. Thought Cuse's defense would be a little better. UVA will at least let Cuse run. That game will be awesome to watch.

Dragged down by the Patriot League is a cross each team has struggled with, they need a tenth team with two divisions. The conference has 9 teams....gotta play them all. Leaves very little room for OOC. With leagues like the ACC or B1G, having only a handful of teams, certainly allows you to build a schedule to get your teeth knocked in enough to weather the storm and throw a bone to some of the weaker programs.
Almost makes you appreciate ND Football flying solo, almost.
A fraudulent intent, however carefully concealed at the outset, will generally, in the end, betray itself.
