Hens have a replacement for Matt (not Ben) DeLuca
at goal, that seems pretty clear, that’s a big step.
Matt Kilkeary looks like the answer in goal,
17 saves,

I’d guess some of the Hens will still be out this
weekend, but hope all are back for the St. Joe’s
game next week.

The announcer keeps talking about Kitchen as if he is the only guy missing for the Hens.

9 critical players missing for Hens. Playing without their entire starting attack (Charlie Kitchen, Tye Kurtz and Michael Robinson), their top FOGO Hervada, their top offensive middie Demetrius Stevenson, their top SSDM Reed Kurtz, their top close defenseman Owen Grant and their top two LSMs Dion and Shaw.

I'd say a 10-7 loss was about right. Hens played a bunch of freshman and it looked like it.

Hopefully, these guys are cleared to play soon. That was ugly.

Some good play from the Hens from captain Mark
Bieda, who they can use on the field this year though
he’s not starting attack with Kitchen Kurtz Robinson,
and Brook Rideau who played for Johnny Christmas
at De La Salle (N Cal) winning a CA state title.

not just hard to win when missing that many starters, but hard to really be in a game.

Will be interesting to see the mount going forward.

Sorry he got the loss, but it was nice to see Matt Kilkeary get the full game and have a nice outing. Always fun to see you ref'd in youth and high school get to play at the next level.

Looks like he’s got this year and next at a minimum,
good for the Hens to know their goalie situation is
in good shape.
