VT-JMU -- Dukes
Lousiville-CO -- Buffs
UNC-FL -- UNC
Richmond-UVA -- Spiders
Loyola-Syracuse -- Orange
Duke-VT -- Duke
PSU-Maryland -- PSU

Liner Notes:

I just cannot root for VT; sorry.

I don't know anything about Colorado, but wanted to root against the ACC for fun and Boulder is nice.

Because, you know, UNC.

Richmond won 13-12 in OT in Charlottesville last year. Spiders have everyone back, a chip on their shoulders as big as Ayers Rock, and playing at home. Meanwhile, Sammy left for Evanston. I kind of expect a plate of crow, but gotta go with Richmond.

Just want a good game between these two, and have to go with Syracuse because I spent three years in the snow and rain there.

The Duke v. Virginia Tech game is tough, because Duke looked so lost'ish and lackluster against Davidson the other day. But I picked Duke.

I am taking a flyer on Penn State, I know.

The closest they came was an overtime loss last year. That's a lot of motivation. It will be interesting to see if they can get out from under this year. I'd like to see it but I'm not making any predictions.

JMU, 3, one of best coaching staffs and team always shows up
CO, 4, don't get a lot of coverage but have a good team
UNC, 4, think that FL will give them a better game than SB
Richmond, 3, like this team!
Syr, 3, but will be rooting for Loyola!
Duke, 2, only because can't root against both teams
MD, 2. will be rooting for PSU but they are still a year away from having really good team. Caveat, I have no idea how good or average MD is this year?

The Dr. has sung his tune,
finds the coach appealing as a prune.
DMac taking some abuse
but to deny is...well, of no use.
All good for a chuckle by any definition.

I love to see Maryland lose. But I can’t imagine the Terps are going to bow to Penn State for the first time since 2005. The little turtles will extend their mastery to 17 straight against PSU. Those of you picking the lions are probably sharing with DMac.

One player. Testing is bad, false positives. Everyone loses. Hopefully something changes fast and they play these postponed games.

Disappointing news Bill but thanks for breaking it here. I guess I'll/we'll have to hold on to the big upcoming games loosely from now on.

So, that means all of us who picked VT win right? Because JMU had to forfeit? That's how it works, right everyone?

This is literally heartbreaking given how much these athletes sacrifice every day to try and get on the field. Not sure if anyone is following the story of Fordham women's basketball - but give it a google search if interested... sorry for the non wlax reference.
