Re: Navy 2021
Many college athletes can hit upper 80s and low 90s if they are strong and practice and tweak their motions to optimize the core. As for the guys in the video- Some REAL nice shooters. Even the guys "ONLY" in the 90s were still doing a great job getting their stick head behind their helmets.
Good luck to any goalie.
The guys that can hit over 100 have the equivalent of the golfer's perfect swing.
And the old man in me will say: That dude running the radar gun is either very brave or not very smart. I'd be wearing a helmet...at the least. One of those could end your day.
Good luck to any goalie.

The sticks today hurt shooters, way to deep. How many great shooters are out there ? Not many. So far in 21’ I’ve seen 20 1-1’s w the goalie on TV games..kramerica.inc wrote: ↑Thu Feb 11, 2021 10:56 am Many college athletes can hit upper 80s and low 90s if they are strong and practice and tweak their motions to optimize the core. Not following you 3putt. Are you referring to accuracy WRT to the deep(er) pockets and your reference to 1-1's with the goalie is implying the goalie won those 1v1's?Mr3Putt wrote: ↑Mon Feb 15, 2021 4:00 amThe sticks today hurt shooters, way to deep. A fraudulent intent, however carefully concealed at the outset, will generally, in the end, betray itself.

Getting dizzy watching game. Just open up field of view.
Re: Navy 2021
Navy hitting on all cylinders. 5-0; very good FO, rides, clears, team def, individual def, EMO, hustle.
MSM looks like team that hasn’t played even though it’s Navy who has not.
6-0 now. Enough typing.
Go Mids!

Great to see Navy MLax back at it again! A good win. Defense generally and Spencer Rees in goal looked good. Highlight reel goals by Franchuk (who doesn't love it when a pole scores?) and Sweeney behind the back after a great feed from Daniel. Congrats to the Mids and the coaching staff on getting off to a great start in 2021.

That W over MSM was indeed a very nice start to 2021. "Kage Kudos" to POG Spencer Rees anchoring the stingy Navy D.
Too bad about the Ivies 2021 season shutdown and resulting cancellation of the Sat. March 13 Navy @ UPenn game (would have been a good one). Since there's probably no hope for another game on that Sat. March 13 date, how about a weekday substitute or two (late afternoon / early evening) vs. Towson on either March 9/10?...or 16/17?...and / or maybe Delaware on any of those dates, or G'town on March 9/10/17 as well, since it looks like those three "local" teams have open dates on their schedules to land a couple of games for Navy. Better to have a couple of neighborly weekday games than a two week game gap between the Bucknell (Sat. March 6) and Lafayette (Sat. March 20) PL games. Just sayin.
GO NAVY! BEAT JAX!

When Airline signed for football the language he used about lacrosse made it seem to me like maybe spring of his senior year would be when we would see him on a lacrosse field. I'd love to be wrong and see him come out before then, but that's how it struck me. I think spring football is too important in Division I to make it likely before that final spring, and he's obviously got an excellent future for Navy FB.

And in the SA lacrosse world, WOW did Army look great against 'Cuse. Nichtern and Abshire on the offensive end were tremendous and Schupler in goal looked pretty stout.

I learned of Brendan Looney’s heroism and legacy on this forum and understand today is his Angel Birthday. Thank you for your service.
