UNC are are sooo good in fast breaks
Third
and last 2 on Kennedy...
Yeah because the entire attack is standing around waiting for Kennedy to dodge.....
Absolutely..... She doesn't match well with the Unc defense.... CW is doing really well against here and their slides are very strong against Kennedy

It was noted in the men's game yesterday that both UNC men and women play on 60 yard wide field instead of 65 meant for women. Rules state 65 yards is optimal but 60 to 70 yards is allowed.

Should be an advantage for an athletic UNC team.

I think SBU would have done better if not for the rain. Makes it hard to feed. Still would have lost but maybe wouldn't have looked so pitiful doing it.

Give SB credit for going south to play this game. They seemed unprepared compared to UNC and only had 3 goal scorers and shutting down Ohlmiller exposed Kennedy. Not a lot of offensive options which is surprising given the statement by Spallina that this is by far his deepest team ever.

I know it’s very, very early but after watching #2 yesterday and #1 today....inho #1 looks a bit more on their way. Although #2 was w/o their best middie

I think the gap from #1 to #2 is bigger than the gaps from 2-6

Yeah because #1 is ready for April while everyone else is in February.

I want to see NW play - they may be the #2 team. They shouldn't be challenged by BIG10 schedule which won't help them prepare for tournament compared to UNC schedule. Was impressed by ND team speed yesterday.

SB may be a 10 - 15 team if they can't find other scoring options.

Easy W!

8meterPA nailed it. One, two or three great players don’t make a great TEAM.

‘Course that has been proven many times.

And Carolina was soooo much faster.

That is all.

Peace, out.

But 7 or 8 great players make a number 1 team

I was also surprised that UNC didn't use a lot of subs given their depth. I was watching the freshman, she will no doubt be excellent player one day but really looked somewhat lost out there today. It must be quite humbling to go from the star of your team for literally 6 straight years to just one of 40 players today...didn't seem to know where to be at what time while the rest of the UNC offense didn't miss a beat.

Just an observation and not being critical.

Only problem with this team is too much talent.... Only one ball and 7 at each end at one time. How Coach L works the new players, freshies and grads, into that line up will be the hard part. Did Miller score today?

Meh, she just was the only Tar Heel who actually looked like it was February. She'll settle in and develop.
