Ridiculously long and tedious delay here…

If Warehime comes into her own this season, you might as well just give Carolina all the hardware now.

freshie contributes - 7 goals of which 6 are assisted. Is SB coaches that stubborn - get out of the zone!

whoops, real time edit - no goal for freshie - hit someone with the stick on the follow through

Please explain what a backer is. I’m not well versed in some lax parlance
backer = zone defense - UNC too good with feeds & cutters... & superior size

Backer comes from backing up the on ball defender. One player follows the ball behind the defender to provide a back up for that defender. It often leads to double teams. To beat the backer you can switch field quickly or you can go behind gle as the backer defender rarely follows. This allows cutters from the top and elbow to come in clean. At least that is my stoopid laxdad understanding.

The long-awaited CW first career goal is called back on a yellow... keep shooting kid, many more to come.

Warehime making sure everyone knows UNC has 7 threats at any given moment.

I have not watched a ton of SB but In all the games I’ve watched I don’t recall them not playing a zone

That was UNC covert ops on the suffocating defense on the ride followed by the turnover and score.

Hillman was a beast in HS and was top recruit a few years ago...if she returns to her former self she will have a much greater impact on this team thatn the freshman..just my opinion
