It’s hard to reconcile his early stuff But at the same time the most powerful, artistic, visceral work was the stuff he did all drugged uo and scarred emotionally (not dis ima LT from many artists I suppose). He tapped into something, a sub culture and a feeling of anxiety and anger, that hasn’t been done as effectively previously.

My 6yr old daughter LOVES Madonna. Literally went on a discourse this morning why pop is the only good music and went looking like material girl video Madonna for Halloween. But...I can never have her see this video. Ever.
